There is no need to go higher than $800$. At that price, they are extremely durable, still a prestigious brand, and with enough diversity to find one to your taste. I used to be horrible for keeping clothes and never getting rid of them. I had a lot of good options to wear, but because I had so much I would just gravitate to what was closest and easiest, which resulted in wearing a lot of the same clothes all the time that were not my nicest. I did a huge purge of my closet recently, donated everything, organized my closet, and it feels so much better knowing where everything is and only having quality items (nothing with holes, stains, or crap I haven't worn in years). I also used to be (and am still working on it) a very impulse shopper too when it comes to clothing. Putting yourself in check and asking "Do I really need this?" or "How often will I actually wear this?" can really help you avoid that impulse purchase. And your wallet will thank you later. Thanks again for the great content alpha, keep it up!

Deodorant is a huge underrated problem. Have you ever seen what it'll do to your navy or black t-shirt? You get all these weird white chalky stains on it! It's probably sacrilege to say it here but I don't even wear deodorant anymore. It's not worth it. Not only will it destroy your shirts, but it's got all kinds of chemicals in it unless you buy the most pure brands, which don't smell very good anyway. Shower, get clean, and then use a good quality aftershave or fragrance.

Indeed, it’s the deodorant - antiperspirant rather. When the antiperspirant mixes with sweat, it causes a reaction that turns the cloth yellow. Going to standard deodorant will prevent most of this, as sweat will still cause a bit of yellowing, but nothing that Oxiclean can’t fix.

As a raw denim collector, Aaron is half right about expensive denim. You don’t have to spend a ton of money buying countless pairs of raw denim. You got to remember that they’re built to last (and there are models out there that are on the budget side as well). Just get one pair of your preferred style and fit, and wear em, beat em, and love em. By the time they’re ready to retire, you’d of have gotten your money’s worth in wears. What the most popular current styles and trends are is completely irrelevant. What matters is if it fits YOUR unique style. This is just my opinion and you can continue to buy denim in whatever price range you prefer but if you can picture yourself savouring them for years to come, they’re worth it and I firmly recommend everyone try out a pair of raw denim!

was 99% sure at a glance that was a Seiko clone/AP homage. I think homage watches are 'OK' but it's a fine line. You are selling the AP vibe when it obviously isn't one, IMO you'd be better served wearing something with original styling or it's own IDENTITY, such as a Hamilton, Tag Heuer, Tissot...or jump into a premium brand like Breitling or Tudor and be wearing an actual real luxury timepiece. If you have to get one of the top brands, which basically means Rolex or AP for most buyers, save and reward yourself with the real thing, it'll be amazing to own and a family heirloom. I think homage watches are the kissing cousin to counterfits, where it's clear the watch exist only to copy the identity of something the market values.

Guys! White or Blue collar! Discriminate! Spend time researching as opposed to money. Go classic! Screw trendy! Leather. Real leather looks great brand, spanking new. Old leather look different, but still looks great! Even lower cost, retro watches look cool and slick, if you pair them well with appropriate clothes. The smaller Seiko might look better with a suit or even a casual sport coat. The metal Casio will look cool with the jeans and black pea coat. Paying attention to detail costs nothing! Oversized/undersized. No. Just no. Jeans. Again, stay classic. I’m 50 and I’ve gone through hundreds of super cheap and premium stuff. I always came back to classic, regular, everyday stuff! Even as low cost as Wranglers from wal-mart. Yes. Really. Take the time for the fit and color and they’ll look good with that black, casual sport coat for any occasion even a first date, or a kinda rough day out with that old suede coat, leather coat or pea coat…. Speaking of which: Get. A. Pea. Coat. Not a “fashion” one because the pea coat had not and never will be out of fashion! You don’t have to spend a lot to get an old, military surplus or at least military specification one for a couple hundred bucks or less and they/it will last!…timewise and style wise! You won’t regret it and you can dress it up and down SO much it may be your single go to in the colder months! Cologne takes a lil bit of work/experimentation. Each scent is a lil bit different with each individual’s own body chemistry. Pretty much every woman I’ve even known in my life….from my first high school girlfriend from 30 years ago that I’m still friends with today, to my exwife from lesser years ago to my 17 year old daughter to my girlfriend (almost ten years younger than me) from the last four years….they ALL love decent, mid cost stuff on me as much as simple “throw on for blue collar work stuff”. Thus, every single one of them adore equally, me wearing Acqua Di Gio or even…Axe (phoenix). Yes. Really! Go classic. Stay classic. Classic is classic for a reason. You can look slick, sleek, stylish, rough, ready, tough and handsome AND stylish, and perhaps save a few or more bucks with more adaptable pieces and far more long lasting pieces. Use that left over money to get her a present for no reason, maid service to scrub the bachelor pad, clean the ride inside and out, ! (Or more) heheh Cheers, gentlemen!

I have a Seiko and Citizen. Sexy watches imo. And CHEAP. -Cheap white tshirts for like $10. -Just bought cheap blue jeans that fit amazing from Old Navy haha, $20 on sale per pair. - Sunglasses free from my eye benefits. - Cologne for under $50, female approved. - Don't care much about brand names Go to the gym, eat well, feel good, carry yourself with pride. It all falls into place.
