This video made me have so many questions. How do you start such a gym? Was the founder just crazy rich and just had the budget? Did they start as a normal gym and just shifted focus over time? If Will considers this a specious sauna, what saunas is he used to? Why do they have decoration in the float room? Isn't the whole point to get rid of any stimuli? Why is the nap pod in a sitting position? Wouldn't you want to lay down while napping? How many of the things Kennedy said were true? He never was able to go into detail, when Will had questions.

I'm sorry, but I've got to call out some sub-par services here at the $10K/month price. Are the personal trainers REALLY using the FMS system for their assessments? That's what Crunch uses and they used it like 20 years ago too. I think they could use a newer and probably better assessment tool for their trainers than what chain gym Crunch uses, don't you?
@CaPnBaLlBaGСағат бұрын
LA Fitness personal trainers still use FMS and I did some FMS-like tests at my physical therapist’s office to test some stuff when I started there. I haven’t exactly read the literature on whether or not it’s a valid analysis but it’s definitely still used.
@jonstewart5386Сағат бұрын
@@CaPnBaLlBaG For sure it's still in use, and I'm not saying it's bad, but for $10K/month why am I comparing this place to Crunch at all? My expectations would be more in line with having a physical therapist just measure out my joint angles and strength test everything with their dynamometer so we can pinpoint the issues without question. There's definitely better out there for that $$$$.
@austinjordan2Сағат бұрын
@@CaPnBaLlBaG It is 100% still used alot but not a very valid test. For example, Dimitry Klokov, one of the best russian olympic weightlifters off all time who can overhead squat well over 400lbs failed the PVC overhead squat test in the FMS. Very similarly to how Will failed it in this video.
