12 Jan 2023 Backcountry Tracks Deep Powder Ride - GoPro 2D

We had a few storms come thru & we've been getting a lot of snow. It's actually been difficult to find a good day to go for a ride. Anyway, on this ride, the powder was deep & the sun came out later & it was just an Outstanding Day.

The day started off cloudy, but later in the day the sun came out & it was great. LOTS of snow so far this season. I'm kind of amazed really, because the last two years were so meager. And there's more snow in the forecast for a week or so ... WOO HOO!! Let's hope it just doesn't stop cold turkey & we get nothing for a month or so .... 😲😫 Glad you enjoyed the video Q. What are you, NUTS!?!? ... And OH HELL NO!! ... I get around just fine in deep snow. I can go pretty much any place I want, so no need for a sled and another machine I have to store & maintain & not use, 6 to 9 months of the year.

Glad you enjoyed the video Mel Smith Guy ... I run in high ... BUT ... here's the thing. I'm running a stock primary clutch with a worked over Dalton Clutch kit, an STM GEN II Secondary, a Worlds Best Badass Belt (I think that belt has made the biggest difference) & a 6X6 transmission. (That's a long story & I have some vids about the process). I put a Razor Back Belt temp gauge on a couple years back & if that gauge was right, the belt actually ran hotter in low. So I thought, WTH ... might as well run in high & things have been fine ........ so far ......... knock on wood!! Again, Glad you enjoyed the video and THANKS For Watch'in ... I appreciate it!!

That looks like so much fun. Do you ride by yourself? If so what type of communication device do you carry in case of any emergencies that may arise?

Best mod money I've spent on my ATV's ... for tracks ... hands down!! The Fun Factor definitely gets pegged!! YEAH BUDDY!!! Yes, I ride alone. 2yrs ago I switch from an InReach to a ZOLEO satellite communicator. So far, I really like the ZOLEO because it works thru my phone. Much easier to type a message if needed. 2 yrs ago I had a secondary clutch bolt break, so I was able to get help. And last year I had a rear track come off. Again, I was able to get help. Would of been a little SOL if I hadn't had it. Glad you enjoyed the video M Walker ... and I appreciate you taking the time to watch it!!

OH YEAH!!! ...... WOO HOO!! ...... The snowshoes haven't been part of riding gear for a couple years now. But yes, I use to pack'em ... now I have a sat communicator ...... 😅🤣😆 Glad you enjoyed the video B Rich Guy ... and THANKS for watch'in too!!!
