Theres a specific feeling when popup headlights are done right, unlike the F40 where they knida look bad both yp or down, these look good when they are up or down.

It’s funny how everyone says the TR7 should have had the Rover V8 from the start, but nobody rated that engine when it used to get transplanted into Stags to replace the Triumph V8….

The TR7 engine bay was designed to be able to take the V8 engine with the TR8 to be mainly supplied to the USA market. TVR used this engine too in their 350i's. It's all too common knowledge now why the 7 & 8's stopped when they did. I think these cars should be worth more than they are today, but mud really sticks doesn't it, even after nearly 50 years!!

Nice to see the new edition, you are right, a lot of money must have been spent changing this car over to a TR8, really surprised at how good it looked so must have been stored well. Also seeing the engine turn over, it looked stable as anything, so I reckon money must have been spent on that too. Must admit I'd stick SU's on it now. Can't wait for the prototype TR8 getting sprayed & built, now that is one car I'd love to own.
