I was surprised to see that cannabalize was effective during that one fight, where the aboms won with it...because I never thought of cannabalize as a combat ability. Always seemed more of a between-combat ability, because you can't fight while cannabalizing. Interesting...thanks for these. I'd love to see something like wind riders vs frost wyrms, with equivalent food/lumber/gold amounts, see how those units measure up.

Yeah, you can use cannabalize to tank and soak some damage. Meat weagon with the ability to carry corpse is also useful for Necromancer and Abo

As far as memory serves, the knights move faster, have a faster attack speed, and have more armor. This gives them generally higher dps and more effective health than abominations (unless my memory fails me here since I don't recall abom dps) so I was expecting the knights to win each round. Was surprised to see them lose against 3-3 aboms except in the final round.

3-3 sounds like + 3 weapon and +3 armor. Maybe abominations have higher upgrade bonuses.

exist many cases where their bigger size can affect positively or negatively. For example, Undead needs less unit supply for wall, less armor means they are less vulnerable to damage spells, also abomination is effective from the start with disease cloud, but its like zealots and zrglings i would say

knights win most because of their model size is smaller and they move faster so they can surround abominations better.

Not really the winning factor here, it's cuz they have about 1.3x better dps and much more armor

Human units in wc3 have sick amount of armor in addition to thier low health, which made them excel in brainless combat but vunerable to impact spells

I think that while the knights seem to have a distinct edge before the Plague or Blight or whatever, that with bad focus attacking from the Knights/good focus attacking from the Abombs that the Abombs can pull a win.

If we add aura in lvl (vampiric Aura and devotion aura) it could be event because abos will get maybe 20-25 hp back for each hit.

48 ad and 50% lifesteal It's 48*0.5=24 hp lifesteal full up armor+pala buff its 11+4=15 armor=47.37 dr 24*0.4737=11.3688 hp lifesteal Then 11.3688 +/-25% 9-14 hp lifesteal per hit.

Grunts stand more chances than raiders vs knights, i know grunts would lose but it would be interesting to see by how much. In my opinion it is lot closer than people think even though it is t1 vs t3. On the other hand I dont think a single knight would die vs raiders.
