The Manual mode doesn't just add a cancel button, if you would use an attack that would trigger a chain and you hold down click or the attack button, it won't trigger the chain until you use an attack and let go. You have a lot more control over when you trigger the chain for complex setups.

was gonna comment this but i wanna also say that this is a very unintuitive way to implement to manual chain mode ngl, they shouldve just added another button and upon pressing it you do a basic atk and go into chain mode or something similar but this is a bit weird to do especially on mobile idk much of pc

@@hachiman205 It's pretty unbearable. I prefer generally playing on manual mode for most games but if the only thing I'm getting from this setting is missed chain attacks, I'm going back to auto. Considering I'm already used to it and all. I could see how it benefits some if they really want to start a chain with their support who's not active or something, but it's not that inconvenient to play with the order of your chains anyway.

I also notice that in hollow zero, back in 1.0 agents used to give you a resonium if they left the squad or were declined from joining unique and specific to them, but now that's been changed to a choice of three random types of S or A rank resonia. It's great but at the same time it's kind of sad that I can no longer get to target specific unique resonia to obtain in any given hollow zero run, and I no longer know how to obtain those unique agent resonia that I haven't gotten yet.

Some Resonia of the right general category can be obtained through trading with non-Bangboo in Hollow Zero, but I don't recall seeing a match there with any of the Agent-specific Resonia I've received the same way you have. (Although the only one of those I can remember for certain is Soukaku: Fruit Peeler.)

Another change is the dirrect return button when you tried to get materials for agent, etc. example when you tried to get some exp materials because you have low, after you finish the stage there's going to be a button that return to that agent.

The only thing that will help is the fact that I played her so much bcs of my Ellen Lycaon team that my hype over her voice faded a bit and I'm excited about the new characters, so I really spent my time enjoying her original voice. It still sucks big time tho, sadly, she was my second favorite after Nekomata. I will just cope with my cop team now while I can.

I'm Ik51 and I've counted 17 new commissions so far. Inferno reaper is fun asf, and actually makes farming Garden worthwhile. It also seems like pipers windup into Ex is quicker. Protip for the mission to open inferno reaper...you can just dash past all the vines, you DO NOT need to waste time killing them. I think there is only 2 you have to kill and you'll know which those are.

7:00 I feel like this needs a bit more upfront explanation. What they've added is not a Chain Attack Cancel button, at least not in practice. What they've added is actually a Chain Attack End button. In Auto mode, if the on field agent completes a heavy hit animation without swapping, you must commit to the Chain Attack. You cannot "cancel" this once it's begun; you can only opt to end it early. Why is the wording important? Because you DO NOT have infinite chances to initiate Chain Attacks during the stun window. You get at most 2 chances to turn a heavy hit into a Chain Attack. You do not get to sit in front of a stunned enemy and heavy attack them to start and stop Chain Attacks over and over until the stun ends. You're hard capped at 2 times. You consume 1 of those chances even if you "cancel". This is why, in the example footage, Koleda couldn't demonstrate the button more than twice.

One thing I would REALLY like them to add is an overflow reserve for energy, like Star rail has. The main reason I quit playing ZZZ is that I don't have time to play every day, and my energy was constantly capped. Then, when I actually had time to farm some, I ran out after couple of matches. In all honesty, the whole energy thing in these games is quite annoying.

Manual mode is also different in that when the enemy is dazed you can just wail on them at your leisure and trigger chain attacks when you want versus auto where if you cancel it I've noticed it sometimes puts enemies in the hard grey stun state automatically

Yeah, the cancel chain button feels far better than the manual chain attack. Cuz the manual mode feels like it forces you to hold down the button when you're doing combos. While the cancel button, you can just one tap and continue your combos

Few things i instantly noticed are On PS5 you now claim your daily commission rewards with Square, before it was Triangle. The muscle memory fucked me up earlier lol On Equipment it now shows in the bottom left corner the Disk Sets you currently have equipped on that Character Under Agents and "Skills" the Talents you can level up glow now and are highlighted in a Green + Yellow color. So no to guess anymore if you actually have enough Materials for a specific Skill you tryna level And yeah the Menu's feel way smoother now. There was a significant delay on PS5 before

I got to IK 50 yesterday and trust me bro, I was over here thinking 3 million + Dennie’s was gonna last me a bit but turns out i was dead wrong. As soon as I unlocked the last 10 levels for my Zhu yuan and started leveling her up, i became broke in seconds lol it gets incredibly expensive FAST once you reach IK 50.

The adding of the cancel button is not really the main reason why they added the manual chain attack option, its for you to control when a chain attack would start. The instruction on how this works literally pops up everytime you enable or disable the setting.

still kinda dissapointed they didnt add a lock in button since as of now the lock in is automatic, you cant disable it or change who you wanna prioritize to lock onto, it really messes up with my gameplay, especially for zhu yuan cause im tryna hit the enemy that i stunned but my zhu auto locks onto a new enemy and wastes her bullets sometimes and even in general its a bit annoying that aur lock in keeps on switching up. Another one is not being able to switch back to previous unit on mobile, on pc you can do it but not on mobile and again same as before for zhu yuan team you wanna switch back to nicole to repply def shred but you have to switch two times on mobile which is annoying too. overall good changes but not all the changes i wanted to see, combat is a major element of the game so i expected these combat related issues to be addressed, hopefully they do so in future

Not sure what you mean? 1.0 had a lock on/off already. At least for controller/ps5. It's dependent on the camera though, which is wonky and shifts your lock kind of randomly during chain attacks. And there's no way to cycle from one enemy to the next until you get the enemy you want. Maybe that's what you meant?

Somebody nows if there are problems with shiyu defense. I'm unable to finish the stable nodes, and I'm locked with the disputed nodes.

Shiyu defense is mostly a DPS check, for the most part the stable nodes just require you to upgrade your characters enough to get through it. Unfortunately for me I pretty much hated using Nicole so I hadn't been upgrading her, and since I didn't have Zhu Yuan I had no Ether damage which was a needed damage type to finish out the stable nodes. If you're struggling at it, one trick is they have an "Analysis" screen that shows up whenever you fail the mission that will show you if you need to upgrade character levels, wengine level, discs, bangboo all listed out with progress bars.

@@SherrifOfNottingham Thanks, but it looked like it was some kind of bug with my game. Basically I was locked in the disputed screen and couldn't change back to the Stable tab to finish the missions. After doing some other missions and restarting the game the bug fixed itself.

Dibbed like 1h into the story and never seen a TV yet. Felt so much better to immerse myself. It was more or less like a Rally comission when you run around a zone. Hope the rest is the same. I don't mind TVs in hollow zero, just get them away from ruining the story.

Event content is also planned to have TV Mode as well. Which is IMO a very good compromise to make, as you can do a lot with making puzzle content on TV mode.

the manual trigger on chain attacks is kinda unintuitive especially if my comp are filled with characters that does charge attacks. I play Zhu Yuan and her basic attacks cant trigger chain, the only way you can trigger it via tapping her skill. it sounds good on paper but because Zhu Yuan has ammo, tapping skill to trigger it on full ammo is just really bad for me. i kinda hope that its just a simply qte button honestly. 2 buttons maybe, where in the prompt will just appear and i can then move around and press on the buttons when i need to. at this current state, its very difficult for some characters like Zhu Yuan and Lycaon which are 2 of the characters i mainly play. and with bangboo chain, i personally want to trigger chain with my main dps so that the bangboo chain ends with the dps.
