@russelD9 no problem, keep the osicalartor knob in the non oscatiing postion when when you take it off, then you have better luck

I have a micromark desk fan just like that one except it’s made in 1982, has the older logo on the badge and has a different motor housing.

dont take the whole fan apart if u dont have tiem, just take the front apart poor oil down the sound stout, then if u have tiem the back motor cover off, then take of the little osicalator cover off befcareful with it off the spring and balls will go flying lol, then put oil in that
