Maybe a ‘pimp my base’ series? Looking at various submitted bases and making a more professional version using the submitted base as an inspiration or a starting point. That would allow him to get cool content from community based that aren’t exactly ‘show-worthy’.

Wow, some impressive builds there. I'm glad you gave a shout out to the other streamers. Not many do give recognition, kudos. As a cat lover/owner, I loved the cat tower. My favourite I think was the Mountain design. Looks like a promising build. Hope to see the final design :)

The POI used for Benu's Cabin is my favorite POI to make into a home base in my saves if they generate close to a trader! in alpha my friends and I had completely refinished it and turned the roof into a dew collector farm

Think that alcove on The Refuge is an atrium. Really cool thing to add, not many houses have them where I live, most people don’t know what they are. There’s a TV series that made them stick in my mind where the lady of the house has a temper fit about her atrium, “the room where plants come to die” 😂

Holy shit, those are all amazing, great job everyone! Only got into the game when 1.0 dropped on console but i've been loving checking out folks builds here and on reddit, the creativity is phenomenal and the playerbase in general seems really friendly and welcoming. just finished my build, its kinda like the first one(cool to see they had the same idea) except add a trench around the base for them to fall into, then lead them into a spiral path under my base that i can easily eliminate them all on while traveling up. plus pretty base on top :)

ngl, this makes me tempted to play on a public server for once. Get to scope out some builds, learn some things.. I'm not very creative, so inspiration goes a long way, and I'm really bad at making use of some of the neat shapes available, everything I build becomes a little too blocky. But maybe experiencing builds in person in-game will show me the ropes. I am very tempted.

These are all made in game with no creative. We do have mods on the server that allow for any object to be picked up to use for decoration. That will make it trickier on console since mods aren't available yet.

If you are building for yourself and have access to the creative menu, turn on dev blocks icon and type doors, a whole heap of nice options! Just have to dmg them a bit to get rid of the reinforced planks on them. =3
