@@AgentNemitzBuilding hmm that’s odd, I’ve definitely placed them sideways before, and the wiki says they’re directional, so unless they removed that feature… Make sure you’re placing the block against the side of another block. Some directional blocks’ (like glazed terracotta) position is determined by the player’s orientation, and some (like logs) are dependant on how they’re placed in relation to other blocks.

Actually not true, I am playing on Java Edition which is currently on 1.21.4 and what this video was recorded on. Bedrock is the only one on 1.21.5… All the content is the exact same as well. How you worded this was pretty rude, next time please be more constructive
