Man, you guys make it look so easy. Just snagged a pair recently. I've put a few hours in and can already start to pump, but this flow is unreal.

Really appreciate it! Jack is one of the smoothest out there. You’ll get there with time, hope you’re having fun with it so far!

Nah Jack’s gotta be the cleanest cruiser out there. Also big props to the cameraman

Got my pair and learned how to ride regular and pump pretty well. Working on learning to ride goofy so I can switch and learn to reverse pump because stopping in a straight line is needed when I skate in the city.
@jmkride Жыл бұрын
Sounds like some great progress so far! How long have you been learning? And do you use them for work commute or something else? I'm curious 😁
@spiderhaz_ Жыл бұрын
@jmkride I've been learning for about two weeks. I practice in my suburban town for about an hour each day and use them on my commute to the train station to the Boston/Cambridge area where I go to college. Once I get more comfortable and controlled, I plan to ride in the city more through college campuses like Harvard and maybe the bike lanes if I can get fast and safe enough.

I love watching Tokyo into 180. Total freedom. Keep it up lads. These vids really help to spread the love of freeskating.

Really appreciate the support! :) Is there anything you’d like to see more of on the channel?
@rageburst Жыл бұрын
@@jmkride I think these cruiser vids are pretty chill and they make freeskating look more accessible especially when you surf pump. Jack should also try bending the knees to jump with front leg while carving one side and jump with back leg to carve other side to use more the surfskate pump style. It's another way to generate power on the carve and works well on freeskates, but it wins a lot of surfer style points. People seem to cheer more when I'm doing the surf pump because I think everyone likes surfing or something. I think you should make commercials showcasing surf pumping with slow mo capture with hills to mimic waves. You can look up "surfskating kai lenny carver" to get an idea of the kind of environments to use. It'll work super well with freeskates.

We mere mortals appreciate leaving Jack’s one mess up in the video to show that he’s still human😂

Amazing balance and coordination. I've been an avid skater for years and can shred with the best on a ripstik but these things are a different animal altogether ..... I'll be happy if I can learn to simply cruise on them. Great video

Appreciate the kind words! Jack is crazy smooth, but it’s just the result of putting in lots of time. Hope you get there as well! ✌️

You can do it!! The more you skate, the more comfortable you'll get. Is there anything you're currently struggling with / any way we can help?

@@jmkride As a rollerblader, I just got used to moving forward, and I never had experiences with skateboard at all so no idea of riding sideways. Just got a pair the recent days, and it's my day three of practicing it. So far, I kinda getting the balance of it, but I still keep falling. I'm still watching more tutorials from you guys^^

ive had a pair for a while now anyone know if you have to take the old grip off to put new one plz reply
@jmkride Жыл бұрын
If you work around the edge slow enough, you can pry it off fairly easy. With proper supervision, you can use a hair dryer to soften it up as well.
