AHHH new Gabe video finally! One thing that I did that helped me is put the logo on the grip tape so it would face me when I rode to help me better find the right/left skate. Music and B-Roll were dope in this one. Keep it up!

Thanks!! One thing that helps me is making sure the wheels are pointing in a "V" towards me. That way you'll get it right every time!

I got a pair of some cheap skates off of amazon (not jmk) and I was wondering what the cardboard spacer was on these jmks and if that was something that is needed for these? does there need to be a slight gap between the plates and the trucks in order for these to work effectively or do i just need more practice lol. Thank you in advance!
@GabeAltier3 жыл бұрын
The cardboard just makes it a lot easier to assemble the skates and keep the bolts from falling out! It doesn't go in between the plate and truck, but rests against the wheels and under the bolts. It's meant to be removed after assembly. If you are referring to the rubber shock pad, yes, you need this and cannot ride the skates without it. It absorbs shock and prevents the skates from coming loose over time. Hope that helps! :)

I'm having a bit of trouble with tightening. No matter how I screw the screws, the metal plate wobbles. Is that okay?

cool, I was the 3000th view. and I totally agree. I have the 30 dollar ones and i tried Lance Lynn's when I met him at the park the other day and they are a lot nicer and heavier too.

What is the average speed on freeskates ?
@GabeAltier Жыл бұрын
I'd say average top speed is between 10-20mph for flat ground, depending on how experienced you are! Just casual cruising, probably 5-10mph
@GabeAltier Жыл бұрын
For downhill I've seen 34mph from Mattie Tyce

I think its a good alternative for bicycle, especially when you are traveling short distances and plus it is far more portable. Thank you
