A child should not go to therapy just because they a little late. Everyone is different and everyone has they own pace.

It's not like your baby has to walk at 12 months. It can be before and even later. Like you said each child has their own pace, but it is expected to do it till a certain age. When this doesn't happen, it doesn't mean your baby has necessarily a problem, but you should have him looked at anyway. It's always better to know if the child is going through something.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. My son could never hold a crayon that long without getting a bite😂

My little one year old is absolutely uninterested in puzzles or stacking or even loading things into containers... No matter how many times I show it. I saw her trying maybe 1 time and when she didn't get it right she turned away and pretended the cubes and puzzles did not exist. She is using crayons to chew on and enjoys my drawings but doesn't even attempt a drag across the paper. Looking at videos where a child sits quietly and concentrated on such a task seems like scifi to me (compared to mine). However, at least the clapping advice helped, she learned to clap last month and has been doing it ever since. I feel that your channel has the best grasp of the milestones and advices how to develop it I have seen on KZbin so far, thanks a lot for sharing with the world!

Every child is different! My son never sits still and is very active. He prefers outdoor activities more than indoor activities.

Same my baby like hates actual toys 😂 like she'll be in legit a week from today, she's already walking totally, she is very advanced socially and such but she'd rather pull tape off a wall then play with a toy 😂 so i just try to think of things like that to help her, but maybe she would like it more with plastic bowls she could stack or something like that, i know with mine if she sees its a regular object she almost gets more interested.

Im daughter is 13 months. She does everything except for saying single words. This my first baby so I don't know what to do differently, if i should be concerned or if she's just behind in thay area. Shes been advanced for everything else. She turned over early, sat early, shes been walking since 9 months.

@ Yes! Shes 20 months now. She knows how to count to 12, all of her letters, and knows most colors. The only thing she doesn't say is mommy and daddy. Which is weird since those are typically their first words.

@@klorraineb9818 Hey there. She just turned 4 years old now, it turns out she has autism and gestalt language processing. She's currently in speech therapy but is a very smart girl. She knows all of the planets and the dwarf planets in our solar system. She can add numbers by one. She's a special girl.

Do you have recommendations for when your trying to correct your babies behavior. My son is 1 years old now. How do you correct them positively? Or at this age does melt downs and tantrums just happen.

So ive read that being stern or ur voice changing they actually think ur being funny so instead show them something else to do, it deff doesn't always work for mine either but if she throws a toy instead ill be like oh honey no lets do this with the toy, ive also heard that immediate time out like if they keep trying to pull a cord or knock a lamp over (like mine) then ill pick her up and calmly say no and put her in her playpen for like a full min. Yes sometimes they might cry or not like it but the repetitiveness of that helps them learn okay i shouldn't do that.. but good luck, im in the same boat with a few behaviors but they have been helping her in my case.
