Due to the pendemic its better to visit outdoors. You might have to eat before and after u get out of the accommodation because the restaurants dont allow dining. You can go hortpark to henderson waves and mount faber hill.

I suggest that ( I lived there for 7 years of my life) you go to 1. Universal studious singapore 2. Adventure cove 3. Changi beach ( great place for plane spotting ) 4. Botanical gardens 5. Hawker centres are a must I’m planing to visit these places when I go to singapore

Can I ask if the hotel provided laundry services (and if so, paid or free) or do you just keep the dirty clothes until you are out to wash?

They did but it was very expensive! We ended up just washing a few undies in the sink!

😂😂 we didn't. Just lived in our dirtiness. Got new sheets twice. But had to change ourselves.

You will probably not require an HDMI cable as many modern hotel TVs now support casting from your mobile device. Failing that, bring a chromecast dongle and either connect that directly to the hotel WiFi (if password free) or use your laptop/mobile as a WiFi hot-spot. Lots of detailed advice online.

Hi, Im flying in on the 4th of July ( 2 days after my birthday !!! ) Im traveling with my fam and we are 4 ppl in total, Would we be given A hotel room ( aka swissotel )

You will still be given a hotel, though which hotel it will be is assigned at random. If you all go through passport control as one unit and stick together through the testing process then you will all be put on the same coach to the same hotel. At check-in if you like you can ask for a joining room! Have fun and happy birthday! 😀

Did you guys get your shots ( or jabs for you British folk 😀) before you left UK? I don’t know why you have to endure like 8 stages of quarantine in Dubai and Singapore if you have already had your jabs. I am headed out traveling next month and going to Sri Lanka first and if I have had the jabs, all I need is a negative PCR test on arrival and then I can just go roam without any quarantine. Few other countries let visitors now if you are fully vaccinated which I am as of last month so hoping I don’t get hit with mandatory quarantines everywhere. I kinda want to stop by in India to see my family but the situation looks pretty bad and I also don’t want to jeopardize my travel plans by entering India lol. Is the quarantine mandatory for people who have been vaccinated in Singapore? I asked my cousin who lives there but he doesn’t seem to know and he hasn’t left anywhere for a year and a half.

No, it wasn't available to us when we left so we will be getting vaccinated here in Singapore. Quarantine is mandatory in SG for anyone outside of a handful of countries, regardless of vaccination status. Travel isn't easy at the moment, and ever changing! I hope you enjoy your trip to Sri Lanka. It's a beautiful country 🌿😊

@@RobandJenny wow I would have thought you both got your jabs in UK. I am thankful the administration changed here in the US in January and as of end of March, anyone over 18 can get vaccinated and it is so easy like going to your local drugstore like Boots. Last month they opened it up for anyone over 12 and they are giving out million dollar prizes every week for a lucky someone who gets vaccinated lol. We used to be really terrible handling the pandemic until January. Yeah I am going to enjoy my time in SL 😀. Been there 3 times already but that is where I intend to start and looking to head over to Southern Africa. Too long locked up and I need to get away now that I am in the clear with the vaccination lol Singapore is still not open for me as a visitor from US and maybe only for people with essential business like you who have work visas or something. Thailand is open but I don’t want to go there in summer.

Hi Joe! Thanks for watching. No, we had booked a serviced apartment for a month instead. We didn't want to sign for anywhere permanent without scoping out neighbourhoods/ seeing the apartment. Hope that helps!
