I have a small collection compared to most people that I meet in the YT fragcom. I'm currently not buying so that I can really play with the fragrances I have. I'm trying different pairings and figuring out which fragrances I will replace when I finish them. Learning about what I have and why they work for me is more enriching than the constant buying. So this was the long way of saying that I agree with you regarding Maria.🤔😂

I’ve been doing a monthly tray for a while now and it’s a great way to get to know your collection. I always have 10 perfumes on my tray and I use each one 3 days that month. I have 160 bottles and I love them all so it makes me happy to know that I’m taking time to use each one. This was a great video Maria, hope it works out for you.

I love this idea. I feel like my tray is always just full of perfumes I want to test after a blind buy or test for considering a declutter, but I'd love to use it more to wear my collection. Also I love how down to earth both you and Veronica are and I love that you include all types of fragrances. I have a large collection, but if I had to pick a top 10 or something there would be a mix of low cost Middle Eastern that I love to designer to indie to niche because it really doesn't matter to me as long as it smells good.

Hi Maria :) I love this video! I adore Velvet Vanilla-it’s definitely in my top 10:) I’ve been wearing mainly YSL Libre, Oriflame Gold Essenza Supreme (it’s similar to Libre), Elie Saab GoN Shine and GoN Forever (I know you don’t like this one, but I adore it), Eclaire, Velvet Vanilla, Roberto Cavalli EDP, La Nuit Tresor, and M. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal :) The idea of those short videos and/or a compilation at the end of the month is great-I’ll definitely watch those :)

Surprised at how few creators use an actual inventory spreadsheet! You can classify, take notes, prices. Useful info for videos, references, combos, purchasing decisions. I can't imagine just eyeballing a collection to use, let alone make content about.

I bought some fabulous bookshelves a few years ago, but the place where I live now has built-in bookshelves--many. So, now my fragrance collection lives on the shelves I bought. They look pretty good! I have some display steps for my 11 niche ones. Out of those, I have cherry punk, identity Oud crescent, and velvet vanilla. I think CP will be my sotd--awesome stuff. As for VV, I can't believe I denied myself from buying that for so long. I was intrigued by it at first sniff, but I thought it was too feminine for me. I feel silly for ever thinking that, and I now wear it whenever I leave the house to go somewhere outside of work to make up for it. I never get compliments on it. I don't expect I ever will, but it doesn't matter. I absolutely love it. By the way, I was going to wait to sample L'Interdit before I bought it, but I found a good price on a tester, so I went ahead. 😅

Hi Maria!! 👋❤️🌹 I do a Seasonal Tray, and I have 15 that fit onto a crystal tray which I inherited from my late Mother. 🙏❤️🌹 It's the only thing I have of her's so I treasure it and it sits on my vanity and holds my Seasonal perfumes. I try to get through the 15 and get empties. It gets challenging in the 3rd month of the season, and sometimes I get bored of wearing the same ones if I'm trying to use them up and they're not a love. I'm trying to curate my collection to all Loves and looking forward to seeing how it develops. I started my "collection" in early 2024. 90% of my fragrances are samples & decants and I decided in early summer to start using one sample per week, or until it was empty, unless I really hated the scent. I've had to stop collecting because I had way too many.

I have discovered a way to get more samples and decants. Easier to store and hope to try to buy only loves. I want to set up a display for my perfumes as well. I’m going to figure out how to do this.I think I just over-complicate it -Like I need one from each of the dupe houses in my collection, an Arabian one, a niche one, a designer one, a banana republic (since I have almost all of them) a cheapie! I really wish perfume related content creators would stop buying and introducing SO many new perfumes (all at once) throughout the year...talking about hauls . While I enjoy hearing about a new fragrance, it can be a bit overwhelming to see so many perfumes at once. I'd rather see a few that I can learn about and consider than feeling like so many are being shoved in my face...not an enjoyable experience for me.
