I’m afraid at the state of my heart. My life is in a bad place because of my sin, and I’m afraid that I’m not turning away from it because it was sin against God but that the consequences have caught up with me. Will anyone pray to the Lord for me please, that my heart would be made right and true before Him somehow? I don’t think I can produce the proper godly sorrow on my own, and the perceived lack of it makes me doubt my salvation and sincerity of my repentance….full disclosure, I’m worried I am worldly sorrowful instead of godly sorrowful and I don’t know what to do, I’m utterly helpless to even be sorrowful the right way….

1.Pray to the Lord daily, and not just a quick prayer but an actual conversation with him. 2. Bath yourself in the word or the Lord DAILY, read the proverbs daily preferably the chapter for the day of the month it is. 3. If you are married, make sure you living out your marriage life according to the Bible as the Lord designed it.

@@javerymoreno8496 thanks for the kind reply, I will keep seeking the Lord in the Word and prayer, and I am actually in Proverbs now so that’s great. I’m not married at the moment, but I am determined to do it God’s way and not jump the gun. Blessing in Christ to you!
