Hey i finally got my starlink but its RV version it's still SOOOO much better than my centurylink of 1.5Mbps i downloaded this game yesterday it was only 20gb for me wonder why urs was 32? lol but it took me like 10min which was awesome but my download speeds on steam usually only to like 10-15Mb i'm assuming u changed urs to different but yeah this is still awesome any soft caps coming to besteffort/RV versions/ i also think rv is same as best effort not sure but what u said about them lowering speed it says best effort is gonna go down to 5-50Mbps is that peak times or all the time? wondering if i can still get good speeds around 11 and stuff when i game like ur video

That’s great that you got it. Anything is better than 1.5Mbps!!! I haven’t played for a little bit so I think there was 2 patches in there. I changed mine to Mbps because too many people confuse Mbps and MB/s. It looks roughly the same, but off by a factor of 8. I believe the RV version gets nuked a little more than Best Effort, but I’m not sure about that. So far, there is no tier lower than Best Effort, so if you go over 1TB, nothing happens… I believe it’s the same for RV version.

The 5-50 I mentioned was just an example and entirely relies on network congestion.

@@brainhomestead6 Ah okay thats awesome so at least when nobody is on it at late times i'm still able to use it which is great! i'm very happy so far gaming sometimes is a bit hard? i do lag out and disconnect a bit not sure if thats cause of obstructions but its been good for the past 2 days but when i first got it was disconnecting a lot not sure why

@@condome815 I haven’t had any issues ever with disconnecting and I only lagged noticeably 1 time for about 3 seconds. You’ll notice that the network keeps changing. Sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. Overall it’s trending better than 3 months ago!

@@brainhomestead6 Yeah i'm not sure whats up with mine why it was doing that i get disconnected a lot sometimes gaming works sometimes it doesnt its really weird maybe RV is different? still on pre-order for best effort tho lol only option is rv but im still pretty happy with downloading 92.5gb of destiny 2 took me 1 hour was aweomse that would of taken me like 2 weeks on my centurylink lol

There aren’t any data caps, that’s just click bait so you’ll watch their videos. There’s also no throttling. It’s simply tiered access after you use 1TB every month. After you use 1TB, then you no longer have priority. You still very well could have full speed, but you will get knocked down in speed before others. Keep in mind, this only affects you if you have full access, Best Effort is already deprioritized.

my download speed is best 6mbps so i wouldn't care too much honestly but we don't talk about upload speed but thanks for the info
