When I was single I took country dance lessons, it was amazing how comfortable you could become with a "touch" in that environment. Also, the guys who master the steps had it made. Rarely sat out a dance when we had group dances. I think I even dropped a few inches on my waist when I started to country dance two or three times a week. Hey it even got me a wife.

I just did this with a new girl. It was over about a week of hanging and I just do things that feel normal to me. I dont watch a video and do exactly what it says unless it feels right. I've heard women don't like it when you ask if it's ok sometimes (hand holding and such) because to her it might seem like you are nervous of her. Id say it's better to gage based on her closeness to you and other signs that you can learn to see over time. Of course if she pulls away you pull away too and smile play it off casually.

If you think about it, the 12 stages are like playing a music score. There are multiple movements before the crescendo. I personally don't like moving too quickly; it tends to take away the intensity. I enjoy moving at a fairly slow rate. By the time you finally get to dunk the donut, it's intense :) These videos are informative, and good for the beginner as well as the "seasoned" veteran.

Hi Anna, Actually what your saying is how it goes! Women love their face being held nicely, it’s actually very important. I have watched some of your other videos and I love how you don’t expect perfection from yourself, and you don’t take yourself seriously..in a stress way, but your messages are smart, well thought out, and intelligent. I have been divorced a long time, just recently got over my dislike for women. Well that changed everything.... Be smart, work out your parameter set....and then go to work on a nice life and put in the effort. My personal view is human being we’re NOT designed to be alone, it’s very bad for your health. Good Job - Wingmam. If you are hand holding, and fingers are interlocking, then it means she is ready for you to kiss her at any time after that when the opportunity or your courage presents itself. You can at any point after that advance to kissing her - and you don't have to ask for consent, since your fingers are interlocking, she's been ready and thinking and looking forward to it, and she will have been waiting for you to do this. A girl will not interlock fingers with someone she doesn't want to kiss - period. But always try and make the interlocking of fingers seem like her ideas - you can do that when you are holding hands by straigtening your fingers and separating them - if she's reading for interlocking fingers she'll move right into that, if she's not she won't do that - she'll keep her hand rapped around your fingers or disengage altogether - Interlocking fingers means your good with this girl, for the time being. (but always honor her wishes, especially if she says no). (If she's alone with you in your apartment, I think you get two try twice, - two no's - because the 1st no might be just to slow you down until she's comfortable with you and being alone in your apartment, and she doesn't want to appear easy - but a second no means its not on for you, it means its off, so respect that - no point in escalating the romance at that point.)

@@linneasimchah1621 Well, I only mean that when you are in a new relationship, and you are a guy, and you are wondering if you can elevate the level of intimacy to a kiss - but you don't know for sure. I was in highschool in the 70s, and read that in a book (the first one ever) on body language by a guy name of Julius Fast (I think that was his name). I then used that as a barameter in almost EVERY new relationship I have ever been in, and it has never failed. I think once you have had your first passionate kiss, this is not an issue any more. So you've been married 18 years, but maybe the first time you went out, maybe 20 years ago, maybe, not saying definitely, there came a point where your husband was wanting to kiss you but not sure if you were receptive to that yet. I have had cases where I skipped that because the girl pretty much let me know she wanted to advance things by other means long before we were side by side and holding hands, but I think women really like it when they are ready to advance things but they don't have to tell the man that they are ready, that he just advances things "seemingly" natural and without them having to tell them to advance them. But even if it is not in all cases, I still believe it is so reliable that I would not hesitate to advance to a kiss with a new girlfriend anytime after I found us holding hands with interlocking fingers, but the sooner probably the better.

What perfect common sense these 12 steps are. Myself like so many other men purely don't understand that there is a sequence that makes for an enjoyable encounter with a woman that is (mutual). This is really something, here I am in my 60's learning dating advice. Dating advice that is mutual and dating advice that is just about just getting laid are two different discussions. It’s not too late to learn! Fact is, we’re not taught this stuff along the way and mostly stumble around until either we figure it out or someone who’s suffered before us has. I always suggest to young people to try out as many ice cream flavours as they need to. Eventually, they find a favourite and know its worth more so than if they’d picked the first one they tasted. Seriously though: once you've gotten to the handholding stage, you can relax; let her take the initiative from here on in. You're both adults, there's mutual attraction, she wasn't born yesterday and knows where you want this to lead. If she wants you to kiss her, she'll make it happen, and so on. Don't push the passion on the first kiss (let her do that if it's going to happen). Sex? Wait 'til she says 'let's go away for the weekend' or 'Why don't you stay over?' Don't rush things, just stay lose, have fun, let it happen naturally (or as naturally as you can without seeking verbal consent at every move). One thing to be careful of, though: If you're dating a woman from another culture, the handholding could be as far as it goes, so do your homework on this beforehand.

The cultural differences are really interesting and funny at the same time! I'd like to give you guys some eye-opening input on the different attitudes between the US and Europe. I'm Portuguese-American (born and raised in Portugal, spent almost 20 years in the US, loved it and became an American), so I can say I understand both sides of the equation, the one of being Mediterranean European and somewhat the one of being American (maybe only the good parts of being American LOL). Let me start by telling you what the bad parts of being American are (I imagine it's a bit hard to fully grasp what I'm gonna say without having a deep knowledge of another totally different culture): That crap about almost needing a "limitation of liability contract" to have a flirt with a woman in the US is absurd in Europe. Not only does it cut off the emotion of the moment, but it would seem, in Europe, that we would be dealing with someone with a cognitive problem. Seduction, for a Mediterranean European (be it Portuguese, Spanish or Italian) is not an "elaborated scheme". Quite the opposite, seduction is the art of the erotic subtext, of the subtle, of the implicit and, of course, all of it with the implied consent of both. The emphasis here is on "implied." This video showing all the explicit "required consents" would look, in Europe, like a child's puppy-love play, a mockery laughable by all. Don't get me wrong: In Europe, if the flirting is not consensual, you might incur in legal liability and criminal prosecution (or, at least, she might insult you and/or, depending of what you do or say to her, she might slap you on the face). FYI, any adult is only prosecuted for statutory rape (to be clear, consented s*x between a minor and an adult) if a GIRL (never heard of it related to a boy) is below 14 or 16 years old, depending on which European country you are referring to. In Portugal, a 16 y/o girl is free to have s*x with whomever she wants, but it is statistically known that underage adolescents start their s*xual life anytime between 12 and 14 y/o. Once, one of my high-school male colleagues dated a female teacher and nothing bad happened to anyone. Oh, and you are legally free (underlined "legally") to drink alcohol at 18. Same with smoking tobacco (or pot). If you are good to go to war, you are good to legally drink. You cannot drive below 18, though. Not a perfect world. In fact, if a man in Europe would have to have all of this nonsensical mambo-jumbo crap conversation (the idiotic amount of "explicit authorizations to flirt") with a woman in order to flirt with her, any minimally intelligent woman would think that she was talking to a moron, with no notion of seduction whatsoever. And yes, you'd be gone, dude! So, in Europe, be smart and get to know what women want you to do to seduce them - be aware, though: There, a "no" is also a "no", don't you ever take it as a yes, or you'll be in trouble. On the other hand, in the US, a woman can easily do whatever she wants, if you allow her to: Touching you, saying whatever, teasing you, kissing you, as much as she wants, if she's interested in you, that, right there, there would be no legal consequences for her (unless you'd be gay, and/or you'd feel really pissed at her, I guess.) So good for gender equality! I think that all of this is just bull-crap hypocrisy and frivolous lawsuits, and it always reminds me of that woman who sued McDonald's for spilling her own hot coffee all over her legs, while driving away from the drive-through, as if McDonald's was to blame for her being an idiot for putting her cup over the dashboard. Or even those soooooo stupid disclaimers printed on every American jet engine saying "Do not insert hand while engine is moving"!!! Duh! Forgive me, but all of this legal and absurd frivolous lawsuits are just a laughingstock to Europeans about the US. Maybe people should think about ending the bull hypocrisy and the futility altogether. Use your brain and common-sense! It makes life much easier!

Yeah, I understand completely your outlook on the situation. The woman's empowerment movement here has cost me more headaches than I can possibly mention, but on the flipside I think that education of the sort that is on this video should be mandatory to keep awkward situations from becoming dangerous to women and men alike. European countries have both good and bad aspects to them, and I believe that America should go back to the drawing board, and reimplement what worked well in the constitution, and use the past experiences to develop a better resistance to stupidity by the state and corporate interests alike.

Let me save you a lot more time. Though these hints are good and appreciated, the whole thing is predicated on whether she likes you or not in the first place. If she is attracted to you then you will know it and as long as you don't do something incredibly stupid to fuck it up she is going to keep progressing with you. If she is not attracted to you (and you will know this as well providing you're honest with yourself) then its game over no matter how well you apply these 12 steps. Actually you wont even get past step 3 so don't bother trying further unless you're a masochist or want to risk being labelled creepy as she blabs to everyone in her circle about you. So my time saving shortcut is: Step 1. make sure you're presentable, ex..have good hygiene, and show you care at least a little about your own physicality. Step 2. Have a decent job or at least some future prospects that look promising. Step 3. Once you have step 1 and 2 covered, now put yourself in situations where you will be around women. Step 4. Be social and approachable. A sense of humor can come in handy here, but you must have one first or don't try it. Step 5. Read her signals and if green lighted then take another step...etc... Step 6. Remember that if she likes you already then she won't be at all complicated and things will progress smoothly. Step 7. "When to move on" If there is any resistance beyond her shit testing you which is actually her way of flirting then leave her alone and move on with confidence to someone or somewhere else. (again you will know the difference between shit test flirting and her just being a shit or signalling that she's not interested)

9:40 Suggestion: I agree completely on the consent and safety thing, but all those closed-ended questions are going to get a little odd for everyone. Alternatively, something that works well is ask her to "say mmmmm if thats nice and I should continue". This actually does a few /other/ interesting things as well, without all the damn talking lol.. If she stops going "mmmm", just go back to kissing her for a while until she resumes the mmm's, and if it's not happening, then check in with her by asking "are you ok?" If you get no reply from that, then it's pretty clear you've fudged something up, and it's time to switch modes and start talking coffee, hobbies, or something, but I'd say she was out of there at that point and you should reflect on why withOUT demanding answers from her - maybe ask her ever so softly, "did something happen?" then just hug her and leave it.

Overall this is really good. But when it comes to expressly asking for sexual consent i would never ever keep dating a woman who wanted it that way. I WOULD make sure she actually wanted me to get physical with her, and i might seductively ask her now and then if she likes it. And i don't go on with women who say no, either i ask them what's the problem (if they seem to have genuine concerns) or i dump them immediately because of this "legal" shit, which has gone way too far, and is only worth my utmost contempt (while the woman's safety is my top priority, provided i'm into her at all, otherwise i will not want that intimacy with her at all). But i won't "ask" for permission about everything in our romance, because that kills the mood and turns me completely off. Any wacko woman who would want me to tiptoe this way about her is better out of my life completely, so i don't waste my time on her anymore but can seek out another woman who has the common sense not to go about it this way (i don't keep dating douchebags, only sensible women who know what they want), and who is both attractive and attracted to me. And no i don't ever fuck anyone not sharing mutual love with me, i'm way too sensitive for that. And too picky, especially since i'm always hoping for longterm. Currently out of a years long loving yet strained relationship that came to a tragic ending (i screwed up unintentionally), having tried two relationships after that, though i called them off because i wasn't being treated the way i deserved, therefore i allowed them to kill my love for them (after telling them of my concerns which they didn't listen too), then i left. I am a considerate giver in love, but i don't stay with a woman who doesn't reciprocate properly, it's her loss. I know my worth and i treat the woman i'm with in a way that would strengthen her worth, waiting to see if she is willing to reciprocate or just be selfish, in which case i move on.

I've always left the toilet seat up. Some of the women in my life haven't liked this at all and demanded that I replace the seat down. I put a nice, decorative cover on it, that is comfortable to sit on to dry off from a bath or shower... and no one is looking into an open toilet every time they enter the bathroom.
