We used to go to the MN State fair every year when I used to live in MN. We went to eat, drink beer, and people watch. Such a good time. Mike spent a lot of money on food in this video unless he got the hook up. Lol. It is not cheap.

MN State Fair is the most food-centric fair in the country. Before you can sell your food at the fair, you have to be vetted. You have to submit samples of your food to determine if it isn’t too close to other foods that are already available at the fair and that it tastes good and is unique. The food at the fair is very high-quality, and many vendors focus on only a few foods that they specialize in. The best vendors only focus on one food, like sweet Martha’s chocolate chip cookies, the Mouth Trap cheese curds, and Fresh French Fries. The name is the menu. Simple and easy.

My home!! I miss the state fair every year. It was a yearly thing, but it is too expensive to both travel back to MN and go to the state fair. The cheese curds are the best I have ever had, but it could be just what I grew up thinking they were😁.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to the MN State Fair, and I’ve not even seen some of the foods you found! Now, I can hardly wait until next year! (Although I may need to recreate the Bacon-wrapped Hotdog Waffle today, because it looks sooooooo good!) So, did you notice the drop zone of cookies on the sidewalk outside of Sweet Martha’s? My favorite food stand is the Fried Pickle stand. The lines are always long for this fair favorite, but the speed of service is impressive!
