That plate of meatloaf and gravy and green beans really brought me back to the local DINERS we went to as high school kids and ate delicious meals like that for just a couple of dollars and coke and coffee was just a nickle. After a big meal, before long the truckers begin to snooze off.

They usually can't stop for 3 meals a day. When they do take time to stop to eat they want a lot of sustenance. It might be a while till the next one.

I think the commentary is a little much, but aside from that it’s great that they feature this truckstop and they recognize the people that keep that truckstop going because that’s what keeps the truckers going.

As a European with American family I have been in some parts of America, but I do love this places. America to me it’s this kind of eatery and people. No politics, race, religion, just a bunch of people going through the great wide open

@@bobbyservantez2283I guess I need to clarify that part. What I meant about the video is that is kinda funny to me the presentation and I’m completely aware of how Religion and Politics are deeply embedded everywhere in the US, but sometimes you can be at the Waffle House having coffee and a bacon egg and cheese and just enjoy the moment, or a breakfast joint getting pancakes without having to deal with politics and religion. Just eating and hanging you know ? I enjoy that about America, i think Americans don’t understand how hard it is to get the things they can get abroad
