I've been running a fishing based farm on the beach farm and the legendary fish ponds are great. They make thousands of gold a day. They will make large sums of Roe every couple days, they average about 5 a day. I've had to add a couple dozen preserve jars to my barn to handle all the Roe.

I'm doing the 999 stack challenge. No other reason to play after perfection, yet I still want to continue on my beloved farm, so this challenge fits in with that. I am so happy about the legendary ponds as with out it, the roe would be pretty much impossible. I won't be worrying about the things mostly impossible like 999 of each legendary as I'm sure I'll be ready to end it way before I could ever get those, but I'm very happy about the roe that will now be possible.

Krobus portrait was 1.6.3, the lost crow is almost certainly just for accidentally trashing / exploding unique items rather than stuff lost in mines, I'm shocked people actually use thorns ring over just glowstone rings, and reducing the museum collection update to "it now tracks museum" instead of specifically noting that "it tracks museum instead of simply obtaining the item"; I'd argue that since you'd read the 'gunther can tell you more' text this is actually not that useful of a charge, it merely makes it consistent. anyway nice video, and I'm gonna do some bigfoot spoiling. The character's sprite name is asldkfjsquaskutanfsldk, and they can show up in a couple of different spots. First, in the backwoods. If you walk over specific tiles between 7:20 and 8:10 pm as the only player in the location on a sunny day after spring 3rd and pass a 2.5% check they will show up and add a flag. After this, theres only a .025% chance you get to see bigfoot there again. After seeing bigfoot in the backwoods, though, 2% of days will have footprints in the backwoods and 3% of days will have footprints in the forest. The days that they show up are the same for every player. Note that it would differ between switch / pc, and it would differ between legacy rng and new rng. I don't have the tools rn to pull up what days they would show up. In addition, each day has a specific time that bigfoot will show up in the forest. There's two places they can show up, with the choice of which one being made randomly (but same on every save for that day) and similarly the times are consistent. In this case it's between 7:20pm and 2am. Similarly each day has a specific time bigfoot shows up in town, and in the secret woods, and in the backwoods (though this one is after midnight). So the bigfoot feet are the ones you really need to hunt for. I think that's everything about bigfoot; at least, for that specific sprite. There might be more sprites! I should run a dif between 1.6.8 and 1.6.9 ...

(I mean I'm glad people use thorns rings; I actually reported the bug that thorns rings don't drop loot with a suggested code change that appears to exactly have been what they did [to be fair, my suggestion was also the most logical way to do it]. I just personally find magnetism to be so much more useful than any other benefit rings can give)

Oh and checked - the tiles are the just past the stairs on the farm side. So if you want to get those bigfoot footprints, walk up from the farm go past the stairs and then go back down reenter the farm and reload the room (need to reload the room to get the 2.5% chance to re-roll)

@7:51 It's easy to tell what you still need for the Museum: If you mouse over the item, it will say "Gunther can tell you about this if you donate it to the museum." If it gives you an actual item description then that means you did already donate that item. The collections tab, however, DOES let you more easily count how many items you've donated so you know how close you are to getting the sewer key. Just count the number of lit icons in the minerals and artifacts tab.

Bigfoot! I didn't know items floated for a brief period. That helps a LOT. I have always hated losing any item, but the *quickness* that items vanished into the water was always infuriating. I'm glad that we have a chance to catch them.

Ohh, that's what it was! I saw Bigfoot in the path between the farm and the mountains one night and I got super scared. I also saw a big old opossum screeching at me in the Bus Stop area. Glad they're not monsters I have to fight lol.

So in my latest playthrough, I did notice the new weapons and boots for sale at the adventurer's guild, but it didn't really change how I do the mines at all. It's still the same "use starting sword until something better drops" which is usually a wood club (which seems to always have slime killer on it now, or at least the two I found did) or a lead rod until I get the bug head, and use whatever boots I find in the x5 or x0 chests until I get down to floor 90 and get the obsidian edge, and then use that until I find a rainbow shard. Though I would admit that it'd be nice for multiplayer, but... that would require friends, which I have none lol.

Woah I'm so glad they added some of these patches! Some I thought were gonna be as mythical as Bigfoot tbh. Legendary Roe now!?! That's awesome! I've been keeping spoiler free a bit on the update as I wanted to be pleasantly surprised on anything huge added. But the new smaller parts, new crafting, and items are just so awesome. Gave it a revitalizing feel for sure. I hope though this may be the last update so I can go for 100% now and so we can maybe get Haunted Chocolatier sooner. Not that I wouldn't want more added. Just would love to see what ConcernedApe makes next!!

Just a few weeks ago, I learned that you can put torches on sprinklers now. This is so helpful early game when you haven't found a glow ring yet. So helpful if I forget to replant seeds I bought after picking crops earlier in the day.

Girl I spotted a sea creature at the beach. Just under the fisherman house. At spring first year. Its around 430 afternoon I was fishing. The creature swam away from the harbor. Looks like green noodles on a head.

The Swamp Creature has been a thing for years I saw him in my first playthrough in 2017, he swims out from under a specific part of the dock, but he's extremely rare. He's actually in Krobus's 14 heart event and you get a better look at him.

I just came back to the game after a few years and I have 3 or 4 farms between xbox and switch and one has an almost full completion of the collections if not all completed. I had forgotten how much there was to do and restarted my farm that was in year 3, finished the community center and opted to give my 100 hardwod to the racoon rather than Willie to fix his boat. But now I have tasks from the raccoon and the trash bear thing down by the sewer and I'm missing items for cooking.

So i genuinely stopped the rush to my bed to ask internally if i actually saw something, or if i was going crazy. Yes, I've seen the giant possum scurrying away 2 or 3 times at least, and I'm in year 4 in my 1.6 Switch Meadowlands farm. Have you ever seen one up close in real life? In our last apartment, on the second floor, we had an adult sheltering under our patio chair after a big storm for a while, then after another big storm we had a young one fall asleep in a 5 gallon bucket on the same patio! So cute, but best left alone!

yup! I put the Legend in the fish pond. it produce 7-9 roes every few days. the price is crazy! each Aged Roe is up to 5,060 g ( I don't choose Artisan, sadly ). combination Golden Animal Cracker will give roes twice. then I sell 18 Aged Roes and got 91,080g X_X man.... I wish mr.Qi will give me " Extended Family " again. bc I want few more Legend II. ps. hope Ape do not nerfed it in the future , I might cry. lol nvm... it's already nerfed today. dang
