yyou totally missed on a laguna the biggest pieces of junk made also for 1975 sported one of the worst ever chevy engines made .... the 305, and that metal chromed bumper you better hope a bug didnt hit it at highway speed it was the cheapest flimsy piece of metal every used a vw car door was 10x stronger then the laguna bumper

The mid 70’s to the late 90’s were devoid of proper power with the Grand National being a huge exception for me. Now going back to the original concept of ugly cars, the mark was missed on at least a couple. Sad video in the long run. Nice because it brought back good memories. COPO? Idiotic! That was a gorgeous car, it had looks, attitude and sound 350ci, Had Cragar rims with 50 series rubber with white lettering, even as a Automatic that thing rocked. I think think the Monte was not that great looking, but it was not a muscle a car. It was a counterpart to the Olds Cutlass. Although they sold versions that had more power than others it was designed to offer luxury at a reasonable price. A "pony" Cadillac if you will.
