your design is old school design but it is heavy duty, durable, you must have a fuse in primary for protection, your test leads not in proper polarity, but your charger is in good connections bro. continue the good work.

The multimeter has the wrong tips connected, the positive tip (red) is not common and the negative (black) is in voltage, correct the tips and I think it will work... that's why it is showing negative polarity on the multimeter display , if you correct the tips and keep giving negative voltage, invert the rectifier bridge, also suggestion that you put a fuse in the mains input.. you can also use a rectifier bridge KBPC5010 50A 1000V or higher, it's better the project you've posted, good luck..

I don't know if it really works, but if you can guide on the below questions it will be convincing. 1. How current inrush is controlled? 2. How battery is protected from over charge? 3. How much time did u charge the battery? How r u ensuring that it is charged.

my friend, all your questions will not be answered here. Inrush current is not controlled, Not any sort of protection is present, Since there is no current limitation its hardly impossible to tell how long it will take to charge the battery. Moreover and awkwardly enough the use of capacitors in this circuit is nowhere to be seen which means you clearly won't have a clean undisturbed signal which will heat and damage your battery before you know it. dont try this at home.

Como dice David , o las puntas estan invertidas o algo has hecho mal, el tester da lectura negativa y estas alimentando la bateria de forma que puedes estropearla, repasalo todo, Saludos

El multimetro marca en negativo eso es porque están invertidas las conexiones de las pinzas. Y no llego a ver bien pero creo que los diodos están mal conectados. Los 2 diodos que salen de cada salida del transformador se tienen que conectar uno positivo y otro negativo de los diodos pará que se dividan las corrientes y después se conectan los 4 diodos.

El voltaje correcto para que cargue la bateria de 12 volts debe de ser 16.5 volts cd no 12 volts cuando el voltaje de la bateria se iguale al voltaje del cargador la corriente deja de circular o sea ya no carga la bateria. La bateria bien cargada llega a tener un voltaje de pico de hsta los 13.5 volts dc.

You battery could be blast at any movement due to rapidly gas production by high current.if you have 10 ah battery ,you can charge it by maximum 1 ampere .it's always 1/10 ratio . suppose some one connect it in reverse polarity .that's dangerous. If some body short the positive and negative wire . Use a voltage regulator like 7815..then use a series resistor.use ic 555 as a voltage comparator .that will charge battery upto 14.20 volt and if voltage drop to 12.80 it will start again.i have made it for my car 3 amp charger from ups transformer.

Esta bien el circuito, para cargar una bateria de auto por lo menos debe tener 13.6 voltios, yo le pondria de manera opcional un capacitor de 4700 microfaradios de 35 voltios. A la salida rectificada.

The transformer always has a given outage voltage. First of all it should not produce more than 12 volts. But with variation in supply the voltage may be decreased or increased. Resistance at input stage may reduce input voltage say from 220to 210 volts. You can check with volt meter the outage voltage.

Misael las cositas negras se llaman diodos y el amperaje tiene q ser d un 20% más, ejemplo si tu amperaje es d 2.5 amp × 20%=.5 entonces el diodo debe ser de 3 amp. Con la matrícula del diodo se busca para saber con q amperaje trabaja pero ps no dio nada d información, además d q llevan una posición xq tienen ánodo y cátodo (+ y -)👍👋🏻

This is only an AC-DC converter with high amperage. If used to charge a battery, it will destroy the battery or shorten its life. Batteries may withstand sudden high amperage surge, but only if has been discharged below 12 v. But after a while, the amperage is lowered to regular charging rates. It may seem that the battery is charging. In reality, it is killing the battery.. I know. I've killed a lot of batteries with this kind of charger. Better to use a simple 5 v cell phone charger boosted to 14.5 v and let the charging trickle, rather than a super punch of high amperes. It is only good when a battery runs low because a car ran its battery down due to hard starting. A surge of power from your charger will give it a sudden boost. But, if the car does not start, you are going to zap its power again, quickly. You will be forced to use your charger again, and again, and again until the battery cannot charge anymore.
