This video called me out. Thank you for the gentle reminder ✝️ As someone who is married to a man that’s not saved, I find it very difficult at times. But I will continue to show the grace and love of God to my husband by my actions 🙏🏼

Your husband won’t listen to you. I’m calling it now. Learn to love him for what he is rather than risking your marriage over a magic book written 2000 years ago. He, nor I needs to be “saved” and I much rather go to hell in your eyes than giving in to the lies of the church.

I have been married for 37 years. We were friends before we got married, and that friendship stayed. That is a very important part of a good relationship between a married couple. The understanding and talking things through without fighting. ...we kept that bright and happy friendship. That is also made possible because both of us serve God.

I am praying that there are three mothers in law "to be" out there, who are on their knees praying for you three ladies. Keep the oil in your lamps for when the bridegroom comes! One of my biggest blessings in life is my daughter in law. She radiates the joy of the Lord, has gently led our son back into fellowship, and she herself was not raised in a Christian home. Her quiet, gentle spirit is powerful.

Found this and love the definition!!!! The phrase translated as “help meet” comes from two Hebrew words, ezer and kenegdo. Ezer means “help,” but in a distinct way. In English, a “helper” is sometimes thought of as someone in a low position, but ezer describes strength. It suggests that the individual has power to rescue others.

@kirbot you are correct. I was married to a husband who urinated on the bathroom floor instead of inside the toilet because he said "YOUR JOB IS TO CLEAN IT UP!" My "former" husband twisted God's Word to force me into a subservient role. God loves men and women and wants us to love and respect each other accomplishing our purpose on this earth. Needless to say, I left him because the treatment escalated in to full blown abuse. Some Christian diehards would even say I should never have left him. Thank God, I had a Biblical loophole allowing me to leave him because he also cheated on me and numerous other horrors, which do offer abuse victims a legal escape. God never wants us to suffer abuse in our marriage. So we must find the balance God intended.
@C2468014 күн бұрын
If we are told to submit to the husband..then we very much are seen as lesser in the marriage. I'm having huge difficulty seeing this as anything other than toxic and an excuse for males to use this to just be controlling to massage their egos. Women are often put in this situation, me included in past relationships and it makes us vulnerable.
@jennhawkins53569 ай бұрын
I love the end point! I’ve been married for 15 years and I’ve never been told that. I do see the wisdom in it. Now, I surround myself with married women, who are primarily pastors wives…and I have mostly mentors that also act as friends (it’s not all by choice, but sometimes God protects and preserves us by keeping us in small circles). Women, that is such sound advice. I honestly had to ask myself, “do I do those things for my husband?” And found myself convicted on some of them. It also doesn’t matter what you face in your marriage or what he does against you, while you are married you are accountable for how you honor the Lord as you honor your husband. Thank you for this video!

Well said. Thanks for sharing Pst Vlad. Indeed doing marriage the Word’s way is the sweetest. Your teaching is pure wisdom from above. I am challenged as well as informed. I struggled with submitted especially when I dont see the sense of doing so. But that word of God is true, and has to be followed. It stands the test of time. As I started asking the assistance of the Holy Spirit, He took me to word of God is 1 Peter 3 some weeks ago as well. Actually, this is the scripture that helped me overcome my struggle of submitting even when it is tough like tough. Your analogy of the equality and unity of the Holy Trinity is so helpful. A woman is a “source” a source through which good or bad could be shared. Not just to the man but that children and everyone around. May God continue to inspire your teachings.
