Another awesome video! Thanks Rachel Question: what if you’re not that great at visual design but when you’re redesigning you’re more invested in the Ux portion ? But the visuals are not that great?
@YourMajesty1433 жыл бұрын
UX is primarily about ease of use. It's the UI designer who actually needs to focus on visual design. While it helps to have that skillset, it's not necessary. Luckily for us, heuristic principles, pre-existing templates, and design systems ensure that we don't need to reinvent the wheel. UX design isn't exactly a creative job. Well it is, but not in the artistic way people assume it to be. You're mainly expected to come up with creative solutions to user problems, but you're not expected to be a graphic artist. Visuals can be copied or stolen, all the best designers already do this. But never sacrifice the usability of your product in service of some aesthetic. Minimalistic design is still visually appealing. And if your design lacks fancy flourishes or 3D animations, then aim your design towards clients or companies that want your style. Typically, simple designs are often utilized in the corporate world, or they can be used for websites that prioritize accessibility. Another option is designing for hospitals or health spas who seek clean, uncluttered designs. Whatever your design style, rest assured there's a market for it.

Hi, Rachel. I've been watching almost all of your videos. Your videos inspire me a lot and also teach me how to design better. I'd like to thank you for that! ^^v By the way, I heard and read about OOUX but I am very confused about the method. I hope you can tell us what and how to implement OOUX in designing UX and is it a must to use it?

Hi Rachel, great videos as always! Just a feedback, maybe you dont need to include the 'sections' on top your video because there are sections generated on the normal KZbin timeline. As watchers we are seeing 2 "sections" on top and bottom of the screen. Cheers 🙂

@@rachelhow FYI it does this by looking at the Timestamps list in your description so be sure to keep those there.

Hi Rachel, you are the reason why I stayed confident in the process of practicing UX/UI. But a question is lingering with me- is Design dying? Is it gonna be robotised? Especially when Webflow is out?

Hey, great list! Do you know maybe some inspiration websites for big CRM, CMS or financial/crypto products? We have many of them for websites and mobile apps but it's hard to find some nice ones for big, specialistic products. Yeah, yeah, we can go to dribbble but as you have noticed, dribbble it's not the best place if you search for realistic and useful ideas xd
