thanks for this video man, it's really useful! I'm currently using KZbin, affiliate marketing, consulting and I've also just started running a game server that seems to be a good venture. I'm also writing a book teaching people how to grow their KZbin gaming channels and turn it into a business so that'll also bring in some income when that's finished. It's all about diversifying those income streams baby! 🙌

I've been generating some Google Ads revenue on YT, but have not yet made my first $100. It is a slow grind for sure! I wrote an e-book two years ago that I did offer as a free PDF when my now offline blog was up and running. I am thinking about expanding it a little more and publishing to Amazon. I like the Audio Book option, too. I never thought to make my own audio book from it. It did occur to me that I could turn the book into the 'text book' of an online master class I could offer as Paid Content on YT. I'm about 750 subs shy of the 1,000 sub minimum for that, however. Speaking of 1,000 subs - if I could offer super chat for my live streams I think that would open up some extra income while I play around live on YT doing my hobby, and answering questions for a bounty or doing viewer requests for a donation kinda thing. Lastly, I'm currently working with a magazine owner/publisher in my Niche to work out average monthly audience reach numbers so I can pitch affiliate/sponsorship to manufacturers and dealers. This should help me acquire products initially on a "Review/Test for deposit" basis so I can do in depth product reviews and comprehensive instructional video series on how to really use some products out there. Eventually - those videos could drive leads to affiliate links and hopefully convert at a fairly high rate due to the confidence in the product after watching reviews and instructional videos.

Roberto Blake I've got a new one. I recently discovered a site called Steemit, where bloggers, writers, photographers, youtubers, share their content that they have on their own websites and channels. Steemit is part of the Blockchain, it generates a Crypto currency called Steem. A post will generate Steem Dollars, which can be exchanged right away after payout (1 week after posting) and part of the payout is given in Steem Power, which helps the platform and you get that more slowly. Some posts make very little, others make more. An Upvote is like a Like, and that's what makes your post gain in monetary value (that and other factos explained in their FAQ). I've been sharing on Steemit for a few months now, exploring it, sometimes writing specifically for Steemit, and some posts only make a few cents or a dollar, but it's a dollar more. A couple of posts made it to the trending page and I made over $100 on those, each. Someweeks I can make between $25 and $50. I've exchanged my SBD into Bitcoin and then into CAD and tranferred that to my bank account. Tried, tested, and true. I used QuadrigaCX to exchange and another site (the name elludes me) which is supported by Steemit to change my SBD into BTC, and then QuadrigaCX for the rest. After 3 months, I can say it's secure, and legit, and considering how little I was making before, it's that much more income I can get for sharing my content, and it doesn't involve too much extra effort on my part. You should check it out.

yeah, I've used steemit too, it's pretty interesting and is defo something bloggers should check out!

Really appreciate these "sit down and give straight up tips" type of videos. These are the videos that made me fall in love with your channel, keep them up Roberto. On another note - I posted my first video here on KZbin back in June, fast forward to today - I have almost 50,000 subscribers and I'm gaining 300 subscribers on average every day. Thank you for these videos man, I'm really trying to make something out of my channel. Much love.

my very first blog/review of a microphone that I own, ended up on their own website, I was absolutely amazed! I used to be great at writing and did very well in school with it, all I can say is stop making excuses, write reviews about products you already own and products you are passionate about and you might be surprised, I tweeted it out and put links to it on forums and it got picked up, it's not something I ever expected to be known for, there's still a long way to go for me in terms of monetising it, but the exposure I got from it has helped me out.

Great video Roberto love these type of tips videos, honestly I think that affiliate marketing is the best option when it comes to making long-term income. It's how I was able to go from 0 to $100K a year, for those of you asking if it's possible. Yes it is, it's a matter of consistency and hard work. Not easy but well worth it. Money is part of society so nothing wrong with wanting more.

One thing I've noticed about trying to work with brands as a blogger/vlogger is that many are voicing that companies are low balling them on compensation or expecting them to work for free products and "exposure" on their social media accounts. I am just starting to dabble in a personal channel and a sewing channel. Sewing videos can be very time consuming because you also have to make the thing you're featuring. I also put myself in a slightly different category because I am a TV producer with lots of editorial experience in storytelling.

Hey Roberto, question. I've did my homework and now want to film tutorial youtube films about dancing Argentinian tango. Free films for on youtube to share the skills. My livingroom is small. Portrait shot's will not show my whole body explaining and showing it. Wide shot wil show a big part of my room that I do not want in the video. I also would like to create depth in the shots. I've thought about a big sheet, fabric of a kind. But that's a lot of fabric to buy and install every time. What would you recommand? I can't seem to get a picture in my mind what will work.

Hey Roberto! Thank you so much for this video. I have a question: You have content on your channel for: Online buisness, Photography, Graphic Design and KZbin specific help. Have you found that this has made your business less streamline? or has it allowed your audience to see a more complete version of you? I am a Somali language and Arabic language enthusiast. I LOVE BOTH! But I think that if I had a KZbin channel for the two together, whilst it would be way easier for me to manage just one online community, it wouldn't be a clear what my value proposition was. Would love to know your thoughts. Thanks for creating awesome today! :)
@RobertoBlake7 жыл бұрын
For me it hasn't because of the approach but it wouldn't work for everyone. I think you have to look at your audience. I have a specific mission statement that allows for this diversity.
