We used for both 2'x2' tiles as well as 12"x12" tiles worked great on both. Very helpful for wall installs. If your thinking about tiling go with larger tiles if you can they are much easier to work with in our experiences. 2'x2' was nice i feel 2'x3' would also be pretty manageable as well.

It's a great way to level up your marble. But please if you are going to back butter your marble make sure your corners have complete coverage.thats were it always break

whatburnout yes you absolutely right... but in this situation is just to prevent so marble will not absorb the water to quickly from adhesive (the layer is very thin - is not applied for levelling purpose)

Whats wrong with leveling tiles using your eyes and hands? If you are a pro you should know how to lay marble. If not you should leave it to pros.
@PolmasterTile10 жыл бұрын
Nothing wrong using your eyes and hands....but there is a tool which can improve your installation with speed and lippige free 100%. Please watch this video if Pro Installar can do this installation with out to this tool kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4TcZHd-m7NnkNk Open minded pro is looking for improvement all the time. It's not enough to use your hands and eyes in your future installation, if tile size is 6"x 48"(15cm x 120cm) or 36" x 72" (80cm x180cm) Naturally this tile is not straight. There is more videos on KZbin "Polmaster tile" for example "Huge Tile Installation 5' x 10' (150cm x 300cm) enjoy it.

Marble Pimp besides the leveling system,how else do you lay marble? I mean spread the floor,and back butter what else is there? do you do a thinset/fatmud lay?
@marblepimp13698 жыл бұрын
I set it in mud my man.I wont set stone in thinset lol nope wont do it!! and when Im done its level. And I butt it together,which is why most stone is beveled.If its not I bevel it myself!! Tile & marble are not the same trade. Any hack can put down tile these days but you give a fool a wheelbarrow full of mud and a rubber mallet.........then you can see what hes made of.Them " levelrs" only make it flat not level.big difference my man
@charlieconustedes99698 жыл бұрын
Marble Pimp ahhhah yeah I agree,I've never used anything but a level,rubber mallet and my hand for setting, and didn't realize that mud was they way to go on setting stone,what if you have height restraints, doorways,existing flooring etc?
@charlieconustedes99698 жыл бұрын
Marble Pimp also do you have an instagram?
@marblepimp13698 жыл бұрын
and them boys need to work on culling through the stone before setting and to key in thinset into matting,and sponge stone before back buttering.That looks like Statuary and it needs to be mixed .I go through all my stone before I pound 1 piece in. Natural stone can surprise you about halfway through the crate lolol remember its not tile...its natural and the variance can actually ruin a job if one does not take the time to go through ALL the stone.But dont be sad I charge enough to cover my labor since 90% of my work is in Longboat Key Fla!!! People with huge houses and lots of money are the clientele I prefer.They buy lots of stone very little tile and pay me when Im done.I do alot of master baths and huge intricate floors with stupid inlays lol water jet cut medallions and other things I charge an enormous amount for!! And then theres the whole yearly sealing some floors, friggn Travertine !! The tile trade has changed so much I rarely will do a tile job. Prices are so stupid cuz everyone is a tile man these days. Hell man I still see guys putting fixtures in the drywall with unsanded grout lmao thats why they make unsanded thinset you silly man lolol " whats that" unsanded is a sticky thinset that beeen around forever and will stick to drywall with out any latex.When sheet tile was all there was...and 4x4's lol unsanded was the main thinset to use. but of course all floors where floated with deck mud and where perfectly flat so it was a cake walk to install..........yep Im old and am a big book of knowledge. real marble men wont set stone in thinset lol no friggn way man
