Wow he's really getting fast 🙌 Way to go Dash.... You're kicking butt bud 👍 It's certainly good seeing you guys out again, not so good that it's been so hot out 🥵 Stay safe out there guys 🙏

He's cornering faster than me now. He can't hang in the open desert trails, but when it's tight and twisty, good by. I need to work on trusting the bike in the corners more.

Love how this channel is evolving! My dad and I gotta hook up with you guys one of these days. We were just like you guys almost 30 years ago when we got started. Same kind of bikes...same trails. Now he's almost 65 and I'm 37. Great memories you and your boy are creating!

What a great comment! Thanks! Love your channel too. That video of you blasting through Snowy trail was on another level. Be sure to check out our vid dropping tomorrow. Dash has his first race next weekend at Spangler Hills. We've never ridden there so we headed out EARLY Sunday morning to get a feel for the terrain. Something very scary happened at high speed. Lessons were learned😯.

@@dashrides2679 Good luck you guys! Desert racing to be honest, is actually one of the safest ways to ride desert because all the dangers are marked!! If you need a crew to hang out with, hit up my club Rovers MC. They'll be out there. You'll find in desert racing that its good to be hooked up with a club. My next event is going to be the Sprint Enduro Sept 19th and probably something in October. Keep up the good work!!!

Dash's new bike looks to be the right size for him. The old bike was looking small and cramped and now he seems to be able to get into a good riding position. But now you need an intercom with a stronger signal lol!!
@dashrides2679
@dashrides2679 4 жыл бұрын
New intercom or more throttle 😂. He was definitely getting too big for the old bike. Now he misses being able to flat foot some of the more technical rocky sections.

You guys are animals for getting out there in the heat!! I've been sticking to Big Bear where it's been a bit cooler. Are your bikes red sticker or green?
@dashrides2679
@dashrides2679 4 жыл бұрын
We're green sticker. Now here's the kicker Dash is racing District 37 in Spangler Hills on the 12th. He's never ridden out there. I feel like he should get a little preview of the area and the terrain before racing. Do we brave the record breaking heatwave and check the place out this weekend, or does he go into his first race completely blind? I don't know. Either way he'll most likely be at the back of the pack😁.

@@dashrides2679 Spanglers is a lot of fun. It's hilly, like you're used to with Gorman, but more wide open. I'd consider it a higher speed area. Man it's so hot out there right now, and there's really no shade. Bring an easy-up if you go!

Is it like Barstow?
@americandirtrider7662
@americandirtrider7662 4 жыл бұрын
@@dashrides2679 I haven't personally ridden in the Barstow area, but I've taken the Jeep around there. I think it's similar in that it's just as open, but I think there is more terrain change and maybe larger hills. I think you both will really like it, and I'm excited for him to have his first race!! I wish I was as fast as he is when I was his age, haha.

@@dashrides2679 It's crazy hot out there!! If you want to see what the terrain looks like I have two videos at Spangler Hills kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZ6ni3WObpiHqpY and kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZnJdoeeqLKBjJo . The flat areas are fast and fun. The hills are rounded rolling hills that appear steeper than the actually but aren't that bad if you keep your speed up.

Hey Dash, how tall are you? cause the bikes you ride look taller than you, don’t you think that’s a bit of a safety hazard. I mean you stand at least the same height as someone who is about 8 yrs old. I might be mistaken though.
