This absolute documentary presents Angus, a 12-year-old boy from Australia who dreams of being the first foreigner to win one of Mongolia’s biggest horse races, the Naadam. Angus travels to the stunning straights of Mongolia with his family and searches for a trainer to take him on. This movie just brought back so many nostalgic memories of mine and almost had me in tears. I would spend every summer in countryside during my childhood, riding horses and racing with my friends and brothers just like the kids doing in the movie. Even though I am now thousands of miles away from my home country and this nomadic way of living has become a long gone culture for me, this movie just hit me like no matter what I have become, there left an inseperable and beautiful part of me to do with countryside and horses.

What a wonderfull story. Love and community is the strongest there is. Does anyone know anything about this melody they sing to the horses repeatedly, that grows and blossoms into more of itself as the documentary progress? Name or origin? It's so so beautiful!

Well, they all sing Giingoo..... a special song that all horse riders' children should sing... there is a myth poor man who called Giin tries to participate with his horse calls Goo and everyone laughing at him but his boy singing very beautiful that everyone was impressed so Giin means an owners name and Goo means horse name and together gets "Giin-goo"
