Damn man this would be great for HDR content with that brightness. How do the blacks look? I have a smallish for my room 65” LG C1 which my PS5 and 7900xt PC are attached to. This would be amazing to be able to make the picture size better for variable viewing distances, although you’d give up 4k 120 that OLED offers.

My friend, this projector is truly designed for gaming and entertainment right from the start. After watching your review, I'm already tempted to get one myself. It's like a gateway to immersive gaming and movie experiences, taking you to a whole new level of entertainment. I'm sold! 🎮🎥

You can pick up a used one for cheap. I recommend the epson projectors you’d see in a classroom. They’re ridiculously bright and have replaced my need to buy a tv.

Hey man, I have a question. I’ve been using this for a year, & I can’t seem to get the colors to become more vivid. The quality looks good, but the reds and blues don’t look like their color, & I feel like I’ve tried every setting

Around 2000 dollar? That was around the same in Norway last time it was sold. Well more precise 2526 dollar. It was 2000 + 25% VAT. After seeing this video, I wanted X3000i more than TK700STI, but no stores sell it any longer. My last TV IS the last TV, partly because not only Samsung now use local dimming... Other brands use it too, and the last TV isn't with 3D, as I still gonna watch. I have to get in an older TV then😅 That one have been storaged so far. So both TVs goes out, as soon I got them replaced by a good projector. Laser is good, but led is better, almost the same lifespan as a TV. The one little issue I see so far with led, it isn't as strong as laser. But I can easy work around that, if I had to.

The beamer has 3000 ansi lumen right? I heard that in dark rooms this might be too bright. + Other reviews say that the blacks are not so good. Can you confirm that?
@Joey-ct8bm
@Joey-ct8bm Жыл бұрын
For this price you need a screen though. A screen gives you more brightness and better colors. Every beamer above 800 dollars needs a screen. Why else would you pay for quality? It doesn't have to be a expensive screen. Just get a white one with 1.2 gain. A screen does make a lot of difference!

If you have a giant white wall you can get away with not using a screen. I’ve done it before and it’s never been a problem where I need to Jerry rig something or buy a screen for it.

@@TheWutangclan1995never having a problem and having an optimal experience are two different things... I had a 100$ projector "and never had a problem" too. Doesn't change I enjoyed a lot the upgrade

The projector has an HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port that allows you to connect a compatible soundbar using an HDMI cable.

I have a very similar, slightly higher spec projector, I used it on a wall then bought a motorized white screen. Mine is at about 125". The total game changer was buying a high contrast screen. It cost about £20 on eBay for the high contrast fabric and I built the frame myself. It went from that wash out look during the day, to looking like an oled in broad daylight. the only downside is the viewing angle is really small, you need the projector mounted as close to your view as possible because the material throws the reflected light directly back to its source. Using the high contrast screen, the black's are insane, genuinely shocking when you 1st see how good 4k HDR can look on an under 3k projector.

I have the problem that the Horizon when it's Sunny in the Game the colours are burnt and i have to reduce the brigthness killing the vivid colours and the increase It again when it's the night. Do you think that with a high contrast screen would resolve that issue?

@@Erikleo123 it's so cheap to try if you're making it yourself I'd say its 100% worth a go. As long as the projector is mounted as close to your eye level as possible, I had to move mine from ceiling inverted on a mount, to sitting on a sideboard just above my head level. There's definitely a massive difference in every desirable image feature, except viewing angle. There's lots of vids on KZbin showing comparisons between normal and high contrast screens. I'd say after calibrating your projector to the high contrast screen you won't believe the difference, especially in daylight conditions.

The reduced viewing angle is a trade-off worth considering for the enhanced picture quality, especially if you can position the projector close to your viewing area.

Try lowering the brightness a bit and increase color saturation. Experiment slowly and see if it can help a bit. Saturated colors look brighter to the eye. @@Erikleo123

im sorry my friend but i have beed battleling with the Horizon forbidden west during more than 100 hours of playing and i can't find the right brighness with this projector and it drives me crazy.since i can't play with 30 frames i have to use "performance mode" and sacrifice resolution and then in the night the image is stunning but and when it's sunny the colours are so bright that the image is burnt out and i have to down the brightness to a 36/37 to see anything clear and then going up again to 47/50 in the night to see anything, all the time.and if i reduce the hdr bightness, the colours are so pale that i can't see any vivid images at all. it only happened to me with this game.i Don't know if i have something wrong with my projector but i brought it to play this game and now i'm currently playing the dlc that they promised it would be awesome, with a ps5, and still i'm very disapointed with the performance in general.i tried everything to find the right configuration and i'm truly lost with this one..

Many projectors have built-in calibration tools or settings that can help you adjust the brightness, contrast, and color balance to achieve a more accurate picture.

Yes: i have to go inside the options Game to put at Minimum the "bright points" (i Don't know how is in english) that make certain zones stunning in dark places but can burn your eyes once you go outside with this projector. Also go +1 the HDR bright and not more than 40 in the "normal" bright when in other games or with my Xbox series X i can put games in 47 with no issues.also It helps to increase the colours: red and blue a little bit but as i said this is the Game that makes me struggle for almost 110 yours playing to be cool with the graphics options...

I mean it's great for console gamers but not really pc . Like 120 240 hz on 1080 p is quite crime compared to monitors doing the same hz at 4k and 2k 😮

I have this projector, for games that have good antialiasing it can look very sharp, for instance Forza Horizon 5 running at 240hz 1080p full AA setting on looks about as good as 4k.

Viewing distance is the biggest factor. Even 720P can look pretty good from over 10 feet away. 4K matters if you get really close to the screen. But it's silly to game that close to the screen anyway.
