Actually gaming at lower resolutions puts more strain on the CPU.

What I did was, I mainly game on my PC (4080 Super and Ryzen 78003D) and I got a PS5 Pro just to play the "current exclusive" games (Bloodborne is still my all time console favorite) and I got a Switch (rather than the PS portal or any hand held) to play light hearted/family games that are Nintendo exclusives.

The one thing I like is you can play call of duty 6 without a console 😊

Does it help? Maybe. Is it going to be what makes you a better player? No. If you lose because the person has a better keyboard than you, you didn't deserve to win. A simple mechanical keyboard is all you need if you want to be extra.

Yeah majority of the people in this world are ignorant to technology including myself, but I'm one of the ones who will do research. Ever since 4k TV's came out I quickly realized you have to do homework on technology these days. I plan on buying the Pro and I understand what it can do. Also, I want to be the judge for myself. I also want to add is Sony's PSSR I definitely believe in and I'm sure over time it will improve. Why I believe in Sony's PSSR, because Sony has always been known for their superior picture quality with their TV's and cameras. Since they're involved on that side in the tech world, what makes you think the PSSR is trash when they have been learning about upscaling technology do to their involvement in the TV and video department? So yeah, people just want to find something to hate about. If you want the PRO buy it if not, move around! That simple!

thought about it, they don't use hall effect and want you to buy the controller with garbage sticks, then pay another $40 for hall effect sticks. If they had one that didn't come with garbage sticks and i could just get hall effect in one purchase i'd have got one. Instead i went with a modded DS5 from cinchgaming, it's a long wait time, but will be hall effect and comfortable and high quality, although i have to sacrifice my speaker and rumble. Not the end of the world though. May even cancel my order and go with HYPR as they keep all functionality. Wish Razer had a good symmetrical layout hall effect controller.

PC i run 1080, xbox series x i dropped it down to 1440. As it stands right now, imo 4k is not worth it. Ppl will say "but PS5 and X were made for 4k" and im like, no, they upscale the crap out of image. These consoles dont have the power to properly process 4k, and it shows. Specially on the PS5. You can clearly see PSSR working (and failing) at times..

Is it still worth it to get a dualsense edge or scuf? Or just wait it out for something possibly new

Its the best console period. I love mine. Its incredible playing 4k 60fps with ray tracing in spiderman for example. Stellar Blade is IMO the best pro enhances game. Its mind blowing how good it runs and plays.

the hall effect switches give custom actuation, rapid trigger gives custom release points allowing the next input to be put in cleaner/ faster. socd, snap tap, rappy snappy w/e your manufacturer wants to call it (its built in null binds) is banned in most fps games because it actually gives an unfair advantage allowing strafing while not releasing your other key ( can hold down the A key while spamming the D key) where as rapid trigger just releases the key a couple miliseconds faster for you

Don’t buy it folks. I have one and it’s incredibly blurry at the corners, you have to focus the lens but in doing so the centre becomes blurry. Don’t dump 3 grand when you have to compromise picture quality

The vesa arm actually looks really good! It has cable manangement and the way that the stand is off to the side which gives it a really seamless look with cable managment is awesome, i tried looking for the same one on amazon but couldnt find it but luckily you put in a link, so thanks!
