Puerto Rico is the birthplace of my parents (both are from Aguadilla). I was born and raised in Philadelphia. However, I was fortunate enough to live on the island from age 18 to 20, long enough to get a good taste of what life is like on Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is a slice of heaven, here on earth. The people, the culture, the natural beauty and of course, the amazing food. My favorites are pasteles, vianda con bacalao and all of the "frituras". Un saludito al pueblo de Puerto Rico. Siempre estara en mi alma y corazon.

@@georgepacheco9099 Right?! I'm so grateful for the time I spent on the island. I was able to truly connect with my culture. I learned how to travel via the bus system, "Ama". I would do food shopping in Rio Piedras. Although I spoke Spanish prior to moving to the island- living there those two years, allowed me to improve my vocabulary and gain confidence speaking in Spanish. Bueno, the pros go on and on. I'm glad your experience was positive, as well. Saludos desde nueva jersey. Que tengas un fin de semana hermoso. :)

When you ordered the limber de coco and had the first bite I almost cried with you. I grew up in a PR neighborhood in New Haven and we had a lady who made these in my neighborhood
