Craig is moody with Steph after being thrown out by John Paul the night before. Craig bumps into John Paul in The Dog, but John Paul acts completely normal as if nothing has ever happened between them. Later, Craig goes to John Paul's house and tries to apologise for a third time. John Paul finally gives in and they end up in bed together again.

@@shwetap8531 Yeah if John-Paul would of been female Sarah would be well and truly out of the picture by now and him and John-Paul would be a loved up couple in public by now Craig is just worried about social stigma and his mostly homophobic family with good reason Frankie practically disowned Craig after discovering Craig relationship with John-Paul wasn't just a passing fancy but the real deal Frankie had better reaction to Jake hit and run then finding out her youngest cleverest son was inlove with another man that was not the life that she would choose for her son she didn't want Craig to be in relationship with another man because she was quite homophobic although she claimed not to be homophobic to Craig Craig asked his mum what have me and John-Paul done that is so bad Craig meant falling inlove Frankie I have never had a problem with anyone being gay i dont mind anyone being gay just not my son Frankie wasnt supportive of Craig relationship with John-Paul Frankie only wanted what she thought was best for her son And that meant Sarah or another girl because that was the norm and Frankie knew Craig wouldnt face the threat of violence from homophobes if he was going out with a woman Frankie does eventually accept Craig and John-Paul relationship we see in a later epsiode Frankie has framed the photo of John-Paul and Craig in their suits showing that she approved of John-Paul dating Craig as he makes her son happy 🙂❤💋😍

Their scene in the Dog is one of my favorites. How Craig tries to talk to JP and JP wont rise to his Craig's baiting. How he acts normal like nothing ever happen between them and I'm so proud of him. I wish JP hadn't given into Craig so easily. I understand they have a hold on each other that won't be ignored, but come on. Craig should treat JP better.

After watching this scene several times, I think if JP would have kept ignoring him and not open the door when he came over, Craig would have not been able to stand it & probably would have broken up with Sarah. The desperation for JP was so evident in this scene and the follow-up scene b/c he was terrified that he lost him and he missed the d. lol

+Tennis Gal Yep and JP had the upper hand all along but just didn't know how to play his hand. He never stalked Craig. He kept his distance when he felt mistreated. I believe he would have just suffered in silence if Craig had left him alone but once sexy ass persistent Craig showed up at his door, he couldn't resist him.

John Paul really let himself down here. Having sex with Craig and pretending like nothing's happened didn't do him any good, it just returned things to the way they were before he abandoned him. It perpetuated the cycle. If he had stood his ground and told Craig that he had to finish with Sarah once and for all before they could see each other again, Craig would have cracked within days. If he hadn't have done then the entire thing isn't worth the bother (unless it's only about sex, but it isn't).

Bryan Kirkwood is gay and I wouldn't have thought he'd want to portray them in a bad way, he produced Hollyoaks with McDean and now Eastenders with Chryed. Also I know Darran Little who writes for Eastenders and Chryed is gay too...so if thats the case how come those people are having them portrayed in a bad/unrealistic light?
