Thanks for the great job on documenting this. I've watched several videos on this before finding yours, and none of them were as good as yours.

My tube was made in Oct of 21 and had the exact sane marking and QC signature. Mine went bad after about 50 hours of use. Bet they had a bad run of these. Mine would fire a donut beam at any power. I know rhey will at 15% but shouldn't at 60. Drove me crazy until i figured it out. New 100W RECI is night and day different

Definitely, now I’m looking at upgrading my lenses to the American Photonics to see what impact that has

Did the tube fail or why did you replace it? Another question, do you also clean the lense which is in the co2 laser tube after every use or have you ever cleaned it?
@vanstray Жыл бұрын
The tube that came with the mean had a defect and would not fire at the right power levels. I don’t clean after every use. I usually try to clean if I see degraded performance in my cuts or if it got really smoky in the machine

Question about your water lines. I'm new to laser just got mine, but doesn't the outlet of the chiller go to the inlet on the machine?
@vanstray Жыл бұрын
Yes that is correct, I hadn't been able to use the laser at the time so the lines were mixed up.

Where did you get the mirror mounts from and are the tube mounts extra you added on?
@vanstray2 жыл бұрын
Everything came with the laser when I bought it, no add-ons for the mirrors or tube mounts

What laser tube are you using and do you have manufacture’s name.
@vanstray2 жыл бұрын
It’s an 80watt laser. The manufacturer is YL-Laser
