There was a one in Iceland that tried that in the 90's on a jeep called "jaxlinn" and if I remember correctly then the main problem was that the rear steering was too fragile. But when it worked it was helping alot

Several cars in Iceland had 4 wheel steering in the 90s. It did help in some courses but it also provided more things to confuse the driver.

a car that was kókómjólkin back in 1990 to 1998 had 4 wheel steering and the car won ewerything, probably one of the best cars in history in this sport

I'm amazed that thing can be going so slow up such a steep incline and still manage to get traction and keep moving . It seems like it would just dig in all four wheels and high center on the axles.

It's similar to a jet effect, like how a sea-doo is powered, or a mountain snowmobile for that matter. Sleds use big paddles on the track and get the track speed up and they just move snow and it propels them up the hill, they don't have any traction. This is the same, get the wheel speeds up and just throw sand with big paddles. These vehicles will also run over water, as a snowmobile would.
