Most of them take place like 4 hours outside the city in another city called Liwa. It's a well known place for sand racing of all sorts over there. We use the term Dubai here very loosely because that's what people recognize. So when people say " we are in Dubai " It mostly just means " We are in the United Arab Emirates " in general which is a massive place by it self.

Love Sand drag racing. Used to do it quite a bit along with mud Drag Racing. Most of the modified to open class mud drag racers run the same setup but with larger paddle tires including the wheelie bar. Nmro member from years ago.
