1200 Miles on the Yamasaki YM50-RE 2018 - Motovlog #12

I’m getting a brand new Yamasaki ym50 sport bike soon brand new how manny miles should I break it in

typically 500 miles (below 6k revs and service) then 1000 or 2000 miles u can really max it out and service again. where you located?

Good video as usual. Just a quick question might sound stupid but I've noticed on the top back of the engine I've got a small thin rubber tubing about 30cm long that's not plugged into anything apart from the engine , is yours the same ?

That's not a stupid question and I do have the same, I believe it's a breather but don't quote me on that!

@@NathRides I think you might be right . I've done about 270 miles on it now and it's still only doing 29 on the flat and 30 down hill lol . I think once I've hit the 300 mile mark will call cheap bikes r us to give it a service and get it deristricted and try and find out why it will only do 29 mph

That might be the carb valves, I've had a similar problem

I phoned them Friday and I'm taking it to them next Saturday for it's service and to be derestricted , the guy on the phone said it has done enough miles now . I said about it not getting over 29 mph and he is very certain it's the tappetts and they will sort it out and any thing else needs doing

for around $400 or 300 pounds you could swap in a 125cc Honda E22 engine (if you like the bike enough) Then they make performance parts from there.
