In the story, "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas," we see how the Grinch saw all the happy people in Whoville and planned to sneak into town to steal all that they had. Thinking his plan succeeded, he was surprised when he saw the people gathered in the middle of town and singing joyfully. The truth is, you can take happiness away because it is circumstantial and materialistic, but you can't steal joy. Why? Because you can't take away something that is supernaturally and internally given to us by God. Joy is a supernatural delight in God and God's goodness. Jesus came to bring us JOY! Listen and apply this truth to your life.
