Time for a second look at non-MOLLE military load carrying webbing - it's come a long way from the identikit canvas gear of the mid 20th century, and somehow, it's still the tried and tested standard despite the ubiquity of MOLLE. I take a closer look at the German and British military webbing's latest iteration from the 1990s and talk about some of the special fixings and adapters for the systems and why it is still relevant despite the newer MOLLE gear.

It's always nice stumbling into these small channels covering very niche topics. Webbing seems to be making a bit of a comeback in Guntube circles. Hopefully The Algorithm™ picks this one up at some point. Thanks for the info.

I've got the BUNDESWEHR system. Not bad stuff. But i always go back to the A.l.ice equipment. The U.S.army got i right. It even adopts Ww2 equipment. The Austrian sets also a close copy of the U.S.army system. 👌👍

08:25 I don't like the idea of those 'lugs' protruding on the inside of the belt, next to the body of the wearer.

I seriously doubt you would feel them through your clothing. Once they are in the belt, they would hardly protude.
