***** Guardians of the Galaxy weren't popular either, neither was Antman so much until recently. Blue Beetle is a very modern superhero, he's a teenage relatable everyman character similar to Spiderman, he has a sexy hi-tech suit similar to Iron-man, which those type of superheros have been increasingly popular. Also there's a growing demand for superhero movies, and there is a also a growing interest of hispanic-americans wanting some more representation, there's actually an increased focus internally among both DC & Marvel for more female & minority superheros, that's why cyborg is a justice league member instead of a titan now. Blue Beetle also uses a bloodthirsty alien as his suit whom he talks with, which sounds strange & edgy but that kind of thing is very appealing now, grittier superheros like batman & Iron man are more popular than Superman or Cap america. Fox is coming out with a movie about a schizophrenic murderer known as Deadpool & its mostly because the fans kept asking for it to happen. But the problem is DC isn't as ambitious or as productive to the superhero film genre as Marvel has been lately tbh

Everyone Please tell Netflix to make a DC's Blue Beetle NetFlix Original (a NFO!), If enough people tell NetFlix too they will most likely give it a 6 to 12 ep mini series then a full 20 odd eps for a second season if enough people watch it and rate/star it well! =)

Blue bettle design was great in young justice, how ever the persona of the character jaime Reyes not so much. Wish he was more like his scarab or a least more trusting in his scarabs ability to fight. Jaime is a character that grows on you but he himself comes off as weak when he refrains from using more aggressive tactics in combat.

Batman the brave and the bold was the first time I ever saw blue beetle and as a kid I thought he was an original character for the show, anyway I thought he was pretty cool and now as a 17 year old turning 18 this month I still like him (even though I've never read any comic he was in and only remember him in BTBATB)

i loved the blue beetle comics and when the blue beetle episode of brave and the bold came out i was overjoyed, even more so when he was on young justice but i was not a fan of his suit in young justice or with the fact that the scarab spoke English
