10:30 Jimmy Hydell was kidnapped by the two "Mafia Cop's" Stephen Caracappa, died in prison 4/8/2017, and his partner, Louis Eppolito. They were both given life sentences in 2009 after committing at least eight murders for Casso from 1986 to 1990. Hydell’s mother remembered the detectives coming to her house and asking about her son a few hours before he was killed. Jimmy Hydell thought the cops were taking him to the station-house. But they took him to a garage. When they got to the garage, they laid him on the floor; they tied his feet, his handcuffs, put him in the trunk of the car. After that, Casso killed Hydell. At the time, Casso gave the "Mafia Cop's" $45,000 for delivering him to Casso. ”The city spent $18.4 million to settle lawsuits with the families of Caracappa and Eppolito’s victims.

@@ellemathews9840 Did you watch the video? This guy single handedly destroyed the Lucchese family through murder, causing rebellion, causing multiple people to flip. What did Gotti do? Incriminate himself on some wiretaps? Gotti's underboss took apart the Gambino family, first by going after some of their best Capos, killing them, and taking their rackets(like Gaspipe), then when he got caught, testified against dozens of the Gambino captains and soldiers, and even bosses of other families, leading to dozens of immediate convictions.

Definitely not a glorified crew. Regardless that they’re the NJ faction, they are part of a NY family and they are equal to their NY counterparts. Now if you wanna talk about the “glorified crew” , that’s the DeCavalcante family (the family the Sopranos portray). They’re the north NJ family, but they don’t run shit. Lucchese and Genovese families pretty much control NJ, Manhattan, & the Bronx.

The fact that the Jersey faction only paid 1% is absolutely ridiculous but the fact that they suddenly demanded 50% is just as ridiculous why not make it something 15 or 20%. Jersey keeps on earning and the bosses get what they are owed

The Former Boss Tony Ducks had a Fondness for the Jersey Faction(Hence them only paying 1%), Once the New Leadership took over it was all about Power & Money 💰 15%-20% is Generous/Rational, 50% is a Statement & Wrapping your hands around someone throat Financially($), The New Administration was not Rational they were like a Spoiled kid in a store you couldn't talk sense to them.

they didn't get their asses kicked they used illegal ways to crush the mob. It's the only organized crime syndicate where the government has to catch them before the actual act on a crime through wiretaps. Unlike other crime groups where they easily get them after the crime is commited like the bloods or crips.

This documentary reminded me the best quote from my father, taken from Ancient Greek History. In life you have to be a Hector, meaning calculated, calm, rational and not taken over by emotion. If you choose to be an Achilles, meaning controlled by your emotions, overly ambitious and eager to do anything to live the "good" life... you will be met by an unfortunate end... that could be death or suffering for the rest of your life. You can't just hurt all these people and get away with it... life will come back at you, one way or another...

Yes but there is Stalin, there is Fidel Castro, there is Mao. From history. Right now, there is Maduro, there is Putin. And there is still a dictator in Cuba, and in China. The 'religious' dictatorship in Iran doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Same with Syria. You'd like to think that the score gets evened out in that person's lifetime but it doesn't always work out that way. Then again, maybe they had private, immense suffering that they could barely manage, for a very long time. Like hell on earth. Most of the time, you're right, the score gets evened out in the perp's lifetime. Sometimes slowly. Sometimes quickly.
