Arylic added some useful features to this amp. The ARC is really useful as many cheaper TV's don't have a way to grab audio, and my cheap cable box only has HDMI out. I LOVE the different LED's for the input, I can see a COLOR from 15 feet... but a digital readout -- NOPE! I agree that 50 watts is plenty for most folks, but I'd love to see this setup paired with the TPA3255 300 watt chip for more power! I love the new set backdrop too!

I couldn’t agree more. I thought the different colored LEDs was genius.

Yeah, it has a bass boost in the app, it has EQ for bass treble and mid. And of course you have the DSP which allows things like linkwitz, transform, boost, etc..

I have an Arylic S50 Pro connected to a soundbar for playing music in a room. As you mentioned the app is fantastic and connects to a Tidal account for streaming. It looks like the B50 can do the same thing but with passive speakers. Liked the video - thanks for the review content on the channel to go along with the DIY builds.

Very cool amp. I like the .1 is line out coz who uses passive subs any more. Like the app and DSP...thats the future. Thanks Nick. Love your channel.

That's a sweet little amp. Is the subwoofer output level controlled by the volume control for the main speaker outputs? I'd love to see a version of this with the TPA3255 chip!

DSP. feature sounds exciting. Does it have full EQ? bass output is nice to have, does it have a low pass filter? bluetooth is better to sense from your PC or mobile phone to earphones. the amplifier is a regular class-d and is not that impressive. I've seen pictures of it inside and it's not exactly filled up inside

I have this amplifier and I love everything about it except for the amplification. Don’t get me wrong, it is just fine but does seem to be a bit under powered and lack a little clarity compared to other class D amps I have used. I still use it all the time though, and it is very convenient! I wish Arylic would create a preamp DAC with ARC that I could connect to my own amplifier. I feel like that would be the ultimate living room solution!

Hey. Great content. I am looking for a DIY zero latency wireless speaker build. Anything with a latency under 20ms. Xvive sells XLR transmitter / receiver that has that. Any hacks you have where I can build a speaker with the 2.4Ghz receiver built in and I can transmit from my mixer to it? Any advice would appreciated!

I have an Monitor that supports hdmi ARC (no opitcal) and a Sound bar that has both conections (hdmi ARC & optical) If my monitor is plugged into the ARC in B50 where can I plug my sound bar.?? I already have the L & R speakers and sub being used.

Really like your videos! Can you do an updated version of paul carmody's TARKUS? A very cool 3 way design with the tweeter and mid in seperate box set atop of the 10" woofer in its own ported box. Or do an updated 3 way UGLIES design? Maybe a good excuse to try out the new dayton signature line. But i think the tarkus would be a Very cool build and amazing bang for the buck. Never see a design with a 10" woofer! Wouldnt need a seperate sub and be even cooler if you could bi amp it

Interesting amp. Be cool it it had a line level Subwoofer including crossover adjustment output built in DSP and a microphone to level out the sound. Am I asking for to much? lol

For the price yes, but we can dream right?
@SolarDrew Жыл бұрын
Why couldn't you run your SW output from your receiver into the line in, then connect the SW out back to the receive input to power a passive subwoofer? Since this states it controls a powered subwoofer doesn't that elude to the fact that it is indeed line level out?

After using my B50 for a few months I'm giving up on it. The bass management is awful. The crossover sounds weird, and you can only choose between 50Hz or 100Hz for the crossover. It also sends a THUMP to the sub when it turns off. And the ARC connection is useless. The B50 doesn't wake up fast enough for the TV to recognize it and about half the time it doesn't take over the TV audio. It's a great idea, but it's not ready for prime time. And the final nail in the coffin is that Arylic seems to have stopped caring about fixing the issues. At the beginning they were responsive on their forum and updated the firmware fairly regularly, but that doesn't seem like the case anymore. They've done nothing about the numerous problems people keep having. There's a reason this thing is so cheap!

@carlsitler9071 Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't buy it as it doesn't have the connections I need as it doesn't have stereo sub out. Does it have high pass for speakers and low pass for sub? It doesn't matter as it doesn't have stereo sub out. Way under powered. 150 wpc is my minimum requirements. Other features are nice. I'd prefer this over the A07 or V3 but it is twice as much. My BasX was $300.
@Toid Жыл бұрын
Not very many people need/use stereo subwoofer out since it’s a mono channel. Technically you could y it off if you wanted to. As far as the high pass and low pass, yes it does have that in the DSP program. You can also do things like a linkwitz transform to extend your bass response. It’s a pretty powerful DSP. Obviously if you feel you need more power than this wouldn’t be for you. You should look into their new preamp, which would have all of the same connections and then can connect to your BasX.
