My best investment from Phase 1... bought 250 Large Venom Sacs for 5s each and waited so long for AQ just for this. Just wish I had bought a lot more back then! Hehe. Nice to see this farm though so if the price of the pots stay put it'll be a great way to restock for sure, thanks for sharing.

That is a great investment for sure! Personally I bought about 30 recipes for the Elixir of Poison Resistance (the elixir you need these for) and my average buy price was 4g each. I have now sold 25 of those 30 recipes for an average of 120gold each :D

This is one full hour of uncontested farming for this area on Mankrik. Using my level 60 Pre-Raid BIS Hunter. 13x Torn Bear Pelts (Darkmoon Faire) 32s 32x Big Bear Meat (Big Bear Steak) 28s 44x Gooey Spider Leg (Gooey Spider Cake) 14s 8x Spider's Silk 2g 32s 8x Large Venom Sack (Alchemy) 21g 4x Sharp Claw (Alchemy) 4s 1x Thick Leather 6s 1x Heavy Leather 15s 3x Light Leather 2s My Hunter is a Leather worker so all Light and Medium Leather was consumed to make bag space. 1x Bright Bracers 55s 1x Emblazoned Cloak 70s 1x Defender Tunic of Power 55s Total vendor trash was about 3.5g Total AH/Professions 26g 13s ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 29g 63s Just an average farm. I do much better fishing in Tanaris

If you're a class that can AOE, farm your large sacs in Wetlands. There is a cave that is full of spiders that respawns every like 4-5 minutes. You can get 20+ of them an hour really easily.

Tried this today on Gehannas with my shadow priest. After 1 hour I had 22 Large venom sacs 23 bruiseweed 3 swifthistle and 20 spidersilk. Have alchemy with poison resist potions which are selling for 7G on my server. So in total made roughly 150G thats including the AH cut all the potions sold instantly. Not a bad farm thanks for sharing.

The best part about this spot is that there are also Bruiseweed nodes which are the other mat you need along with the sacks to make the Poison Resist pots, so if you've got Herb/Alchemist, this is amazing!

Sadly on my server ( Nethergarde Keep) On Horde side those venom sacks have an average AH sale price of 3s rather than 5g

SO. i've done a full hour of this farm and i have made a grand total of roughly 58 gold, with venom sacs selling for about 4.5g per on the AH. I did this on a rogue, which is not the best class to do this with, but this is a bit of a drastic change from the promised 125gph. Still, money is tough to make as a rogue, so 60g per hour is really good, and i greatly appreciate the guide. I feel like i may have just gotten really unlucky, so later tonight when i'm back on i'll do another hour and see how it goes.

How much does Large Venom Sacs sell for on your server? On mine it's 7g now, but I still have it as 5 gold on my FarmLog, and I did a 1 hour test again today AND I tested a new location, and in both locations I got 120-135 gold per hour in a 1 hour period. On top of this, before making this video me and the guy who recommended this farm to me tested it for 5 hours combined on both horde+alliance over two servers and our average came out to 128 gold per hour. I have also done 4 hours of consecutive testing yesterday where my gph was also 120+ (and that's concidering Large Venom Sacs being 5 gold each, while they are 7g each now, so it's even more than 120/hr for me) All testing on the farm is greatly appreciated so we can figure out the "average" number, let me know how your next farming session goes :D

Nevermind, just read your comment again and noticed the 4.5 gold each, hmm, you might have gotten rough rng then :o sounds a bit on the low end for an hour farm - but me being a hunter definitely helps a lot (30+% movement speed is GREAT) :D

My 2nd hour is finished. I ended up getting around 90 gold this time around, which is more than BRD pickpoketing so i'm happy with it, and after i perfect my route and really get this farm nailed down i'm sure i'll be making more. on another note i really appreciate you replying to comments and addressing issues, it's a quality most youtubers nowadays lack. This is far from 125 hour the drops rate is to random to say that it can be if your lucky though I would say 60=125 gold an hour farm

Since I tested it for 2 hours before this video, and I've done 6 hours after this video, and the guy who recommended me the farm showed me a 3 hour session, and all of our combined 11 hours of farming averaged 130 gold across 2 factions and 2 servers, for me it's a 125 gold per hour farm. Over time, RNG does not matter, because it will even itself out. You could have terrible RNG and farm for 100000 hours and get ONE drop, but the chance of that is also 0.00000000001%. The only factor for this farm is really how much they sell for on your server, and how fast you can kill the mobs. I chose a hunter because ez one shots + aspect of cheetah movement bonus :)

Yup! There is a cave in the eastern part of Wetlands that is great for farming it, but that cave is already so popular that I think making a video on it would ruin it even more. I went there before I went to the location in this video and it was 3 people competing for mobs in the cave :( If you can do it without competition it's great tho!

@@SolheimGaming on our Realm it was okay till short before AQ was opening. Meanwhile there are Mages from the Top Guilds farming there constantly. I switched to the spiders in Hillsbrad, there is nobody there. All are in the cave *lol*

Im not sure if Im just unlucky or what but I did this on my warrior for an hour and only managed to get 4 venom sacks and I stayed within the area that you said to. I am also not slow by any means. Ive played WoW since early BC and only a warrior at that so I know my way around to say the least. Im just confused why Im getting such a little return on my time. I will try for another four hours or so and average out the venom sacks over a five hour period. 4 venom sacks per hour though definitely not worth at all.

@@SolheimGaming So I think I found a bit better farm for Large Venom Sacks if you have skinning as well. In Thousand Needles the Scorpid Terror and Scorpid Reaver both drop Large Venom Sacks at a rate of 11%-12% and you can skin them. They are spaced apart a bit more but once you find and learn where the packs spawn I think its more gold per hour adding in skinning as well.

Selling like hotcakes on my server! Especially if you sell them on raid-days, or craft them into the Elixir (Elixir of Poison Resistance) and sell that on raid days! Been selling Elixirs up to 15g each when people are desperate :D Sold over 100 Sacs and 50 Elixirs the last week ^^

150 sales in total might not sound like a lot, but I'm happy with it concidering competition is high on my server and I get undercut all the time, and I only log on once a day to handle auctions ^^

I'm farming the Sacks and also buying extra from AH and using them all to make the potions, that's the best way to do it IMO if you have alchemy or someone in your guild who can make them for you. The potions sell so quick at the moment, especially of an evening. Don't think I've ever had a stack up in AH that hasn't sold so far.

Went to the cave before going to this spot and 3 people were competing for mob tags, while in this location I was totally alone. I have done the Wetlands cave aswell without competition at 5AM, I'm able to get about 15% more drops there, but since it's usually crowded and more popular, I like this location more ^^

@@SolheimGaming gotta up that game lol. Get one of the raid potion recipes and you ll be banking like crazy on a busy raiding server, recipes alone usually sell 5000 to 10000g to top tier guilds. If you can learn and make the pots log in on raid nights and start spamming trade and you can easily clear several 1000 gold selling at 50g to 100g each especially if no one on server is making yet or supply is low
