The industry is trying to transition to "clean electric bikes". The last thing they want to cover is the "old dirty 2-strokes", even though that is what the people want to see.

I pretty strongly believe the broadcast has no agenda when it comes to bikes on the track. If it sells and they know about it, they will cover it. They covered Stank on a 2t pretty extensively a few races back, which indicates such.

This is a perfect example of why we need drastic change in the way our sport is covered. Not even a mention of this on the Main broadcast until a quick glimpse of the burnout at the end. As a fan this was super fun to watch! I was smiling and laughing the whole time. Teams are folding the sport is dieing change is needed. Doing a better job of covering popular riders would be a good start. Market the riders and their brands not just the sponsors. You and stank are extremely marketable. You’re doing a good job of that yourself clearly. Good on you and stank for bringing some fun back into the stuffy sport.

I agree . If the AMA started a 125 / 250 cc two stroke series outdoors that would get a lot of people excited for the sport again. Your right it’s getting stale a stuffy.

@@sammymurphy5680 I hope you’re right! There’s some red flags though. Rocky Mountain folding, geico folding, Suzuki pulling it’s factory team. It really limits the seats available for these guys. It leaves the privateer route which is a money pit, unless nbc and ama do a better job of marketing the privateers and building human interest in these guys. So hopefully they can build there own brands. There’s so much time in those broadcasts that could be filled getting to know riders. I respect the shit out of Ricky but I don’t need to hear him talk for 3 hours. Tell me about clason, Cat, A ray, stank dog, Kevin moranz (sp) these guys are super like able people that could be household names with the right platform. Jett and hunter are amazing for the sport but there’s more guys that are just as funny and marketable. Getting to see these guy as people creates an emotional investment in them so people are willing to buy more merch and pump more money into the sport. I just want to see these riders get paid like they deserve. Keep the talent around longer and draw in more talent. Not to mention some kind of security blanket in the event they get seriously injured. Sorry for the rant folks, stepping off the soap box now.

I watched the race on TV and was watching for you, especially in the LCQ. I kept checking the list to see where you and Stank were at. I was excited when I saw that you two were together. The broadcast didn't show any of your battle. Too bad. After watching this it obvious it was great and you two were loving it. Pointing at each other off the jump where you were side by side and the nac, both were awesome. Can you ride a 250 two stroke in the lites class? You should be able to as, from what I hear, the 250 four strokes have more hp. Great showing from you and Stank tho, very entertaining.

That was awesome... I am glad you posted this, so I could see you guys racing on those 2 strokes. During the Live TV, I was looking for you guys but couldn't get a real good glimpse. That was actually one of my favorite tracks of this year, after the weather cleared and the track dried up more. Looked like you guys had a rough go at it because of the moisture. I agree with you, looked like the four strokes had an advantage.

For the life of me, I don’t know why the unsigned Privateers just don’t band together and SAY, “FU to the AMA and just show up with 30 125’s and have your own series within a series! If MXA Magazine would get onboard, my Company would contribute $1000 to a Point Fund for the Top 10/15/20 in National Standings if 10 or more Privateers entered the Nationals on a 125!
