Apparently dark tomatoes are better for us. 🤣🤣 Nick said it reminded him of an Amish barn moving. I love making changes to the garden sometimes it’s more fun than growing stuff. The carrots seem amazing I hope to get one to go to seed and save them. It has been love,y and sunny again but cold at night we just really need some rain 🤦‍♀️. Hope you are well and I assume we won’t be getting any updates from the old allotment. Have you given it up completely now 😢😢

@myrustygarden I think I like the building of the growing area too and harvesting.. I don't hand the allotment over until the end of the year, I have had so much trouble with my mobility scooter's (I have had 4 in the last 6 months)I haven't been able to clear it as fast as I thought. But,,,,, next week I am getting an ex demonstration scooter so I'm really looking forward to that then I can get everything off that I want to take, I'm not actually growing anything at the allotment, the lady that is taking over it has had full run of it so nothing really to show, I might do a goodbye video...😁🐄🐄🐄

Hi Ali. I like where you have put your veggie pods. I would however, pave the lot so you can move them back and forth as you please. Its a pity you cant have them all in one place. That's the thing with tomatoes, you have to get creative what to do with them lol. Cold and damp morning there. Your sedums, as always, beautiful. Your brussels are bigger than mine lol. So much to save, store and prep for autumn. Don't forget to save some sunflower seed for next year. That's a biiig structure to move with Gerald but you both managed it. That would be awesome but here anything like concrete etc needs permits and permission even on your own land. Bloody government money grab is all it is. But it will do for now 🤭🤭. It is finally pouring rain here and cold well 14c but it feels colder. I have tucked away a sunflower head to keep away from mice 🐭. The carrots were a total surprise I only sowed them July 5 and will definitely grow them again. Have a fab day stay warm and dry 🙏

I am really happy with the vegepods and they are a treat for the old back 🤭 it’s so much easier. I’ll leave the big ground beds for peas and beans etc next season and most likely squash. The tomatoes are ripening nicely and I’m cubing and freezing as they do 👍👍. Have an amazing week and happy sunny weather hopefully 🤞🤞

It is definitely my favourite time of year Colin, sunny but cooler temps. I took a day well sort of 🤭 off and went with Gerald to get poop and bark mulch. Last year I had some shallow cardboard boxes from a costco trip available that I stored my tomatoes in and stacked on top of each other. Most of them were green and needed to ripen indoors - that's growing in alaska for you 😂

The huge one is pink I have a white one too they are quite stunning when in full bloom. Yes I am quite shocked but the carrots they grew very well and quickly. Always a pleasure to share with like minded people who love gardening as much as I do. Have an amazing weekend 👍

My goodness we had such a hot summer and a load of cabbage whites so it’s caterpillar 🐛 heaven for them, 🤭🤭 until I find them that is. Then it’s bird food hell. I’m waiting a few more days til we get a bit of a chill then I’ll too and cook my sprout heads but so far they are looking well. Hope you are doing ok as the weather gets cooler 👍👍

I'm thinking that the Cabbage whites didn't get into your frame (Although they are very good at getting through mesh) rather that they somehow laid eggs on the plants before you put them in. Hi Ali, thanks for the shout out about the Tomato🍅ripening trick hope it worked for you with your different varieties, i forgot to say that the more Tomatoes🍅you put in the paper bag🗞👜 you have to put two or three more Bananas in. As for my KZbinchannel, i do have one but at the moment i only have some Playlists but i do have some subscribers who are interested in the Playlists, one of the playlists is Gardening. You have been a busy bee🐝in your garden moving the grow thingy boxes on wheels (i just had a brain freeze🥶and forgot the name of them🤣) and also clearing stuff up, i know it's boring this time of year i just do my Garlic🧄 and Onions🧅and that's it until February when i start planting. Weather were i live this week has been a mixture of Rain🌧Sun🌞Storms🌬 Thunder and Lightning🌩 Anyway this will be turning into an essay soon if i don't get off here, thanks again for the shout out, TC.
