haha well.. we had a few years worth of our digs recorded before we even started the channel.. we just kept pushing it off lol.. so we do have a stockpile.. but yes, you are right.. the ground just froze up here about a week ago. so we do only have like an 7 1/2 month window where we can actually dig, since we live in a frozen hellscape.. but thank you for all the nice words! glad you like the videos. you have no idea how surreal it feels when someone says they like our videos.. thank you so much

I've noticed you've not done any compilation videos of all the fine stuff you found, I could be wrong but if not could you do one because your channel is completely fascinating, and it's a rarity among KZbin channels these days( in my opinion of course), because you just give facts there is no stupid music and none of that other stupid stuff that I've just gotten so bored with. I could sound pretentious but at this point you got quality stuff I'm acknowledging that! Plus you remind me if a Rankin/Bass character from the old stop motion Christmas shows we used to watch as children! You're adorable!

Also in reference to beer bots - Busch was the one making lady's leg beer bots. This did not happen with the Ohio Bottle Company plants within the American Bottle Company. So this lady's leg beer bot sampler is a Busch made product. It is also known that Busch before, (and this sampler proves - during), that domestic Busch glass plants were making these beer bots (confused with wine and whiskey bots) - and also having Germans sending beer bots to America helping fill up Busch's need for containers - that could also be (unmarked) lady's legs. But this bot is very rare and highly proven to be a Busch-made American Bottle Company beer bot at the Belleville, Streator, or St Louis plant.

There’s a guy in England that preserves his labels by putting the label where it can’t be scratched off then he soak the bottles with the labels in water carefully then he lets it dry and sprays it with clear coat. It makes it to where you can read the labels and see what colors they where originally.

Homer Laughlin is just south of me in Ohio, they still make Fiesta ware and such today. Most everyone around this area has some in their kitchen that they still use, I still have a bunch from the 40's and 50's.........We had lots of pottery places along the Ohio river post civil war, not many left now. There is a pottery museum in East Liverpool that I believe is still open limited hours, an interesting history of the area before the turn of the last century.

Question My house was built in 1903. How does a person find where the outhouse areas were? shouldn't be to hard as the back yard is only like 60x150 When I was kid the old horse n wagon shed sit in back 16x16 area so eliminates that area.

Finding out more history of the American Bottle Company (slant) AB and AB Co monogram. There are some with "B" and "S" markings on bottom that relate to the Busch-owned and -operated "B" Belleville, OH, and "S" Streator, IL glass houses. Some of these same have 6, 7,8, 9 (as 1906, 1907, 1908, 1909). YT Mass River Pickers just pulled out amber bottle with "L and 3 or 33 on the base, that can only be the Busch St Louis MO plant, the "S" taken by Streator and L for St Louis. The 3 or 33 would then be 1913 or least-likely a ghost mold of 33 as 1933 when prohibition stopped and beer manufacturing was restarted with clear bots. So check out the maker's mark on the bottom of this American Bottle Company bot - as the compatriot 4 plants of the Ohio Bottle Company with 1 plant at Newark OH, 2 plants at Wooster OH, and 1 at Masillon OH did not use any plant or date codes. It is also highly suspect at the American Bottle Company was licensed to use Owens bottle machines, and through its existence (1905- said 1916) Owens was buying up the Ohio Bottle Company plants ... and only 1 Ohio plant and the 1 Busch Streator plant lasted to the end ... and were sold off to Owens Bottle Company. It is after this time, and much confusion of Adolphus Busch making beer bots before, during, and after American Bottle Company, that Busch could have taken up the (slant and bold) AB and AB Co maker's mark post-1916 ... and not before this time period as other bot author(s) imply. So the maker's mark on this clear machine made beer bot and its specific mark and identity provides massive historical revision and correction to these bots.
