70PSI is the new 50psi.lol Engine management systems, fuel systems, turbo technology etc. have all played a role in the power production levels we're seeing currently. It's not uncommon to see sleeved blocks running 80 to 100+psi

Luis, Sakura was running a Mitsubishi G54 2.6L Single cam 8 valve engine from the Starion and Conquest not the DOHC 4G63 16 valve engine from the Eclipse and Galants like this one. I remember that car, It went 7.40's over 22 years ago, That was something almost impossible in mid 90's!

I've got a 4 door 88 colt i just got done 4g63 swapping...there isn't much space at all in these engine bays once you start putting bigger parts on it...gotta get creative with placement of everything. Car stock before swap weighed 2050. These cars book. The stock 1.6 4g32b turbo that came in the car made the car scoot for it only having 90hp.

Shit, my FWD 4g63t swapped Colt was really hard to hold onto under full boost, I couldn't imagine this. My car had a 1/3rd of the power, but it was crazy.

Also more then likely realized he probably maxed out the aero of the body and driveline components. Being manual with that power level it takes alot of bling bling to keep them going too.

DAMN IT DUDE! I used to own one of these that I built and I fucking traded it for a piece of shit. It had a built 4g63t in it, and I had it tuned on a Frankenstein 19c turbo and 1200cc injectors and it made 429 wheel horsepower on 22 psi. Granted, mine was tuned on an Apex'i SAFCII, and it wasn't AWD, but it isn't hard to build them, but you gotta have the money to build an engine like that. Congratulations on this build brother, it is amazing!

For being all wheel drive with so much HP it should take off faster. Either the driver sucks or the engine needs better tuning at take off. I'm sure if it would take off like it suppose to you will be a second faster. Also it may have to much HP for the strength of the car.

It has coolant in the jacket, lots of drag builds run no coolant. O rings are copper or steel rings that surround the cylinder sleeve for extra clamping force for the head to block mating surface, to take more boost/cylinder pressure.

I had an 84 Dodge Colt turbo Reeves Callaway gave me an intercooler for it . Thanks Reeves ! I ran a cold air intake tube into the cowl Pluged in a fuel cut defencer Electronic boost adjuser Eibach springs & Bilstein dampners. bigger brakes Shaved 185-50-14. Klebar Tires The weak link was the duel range 8 speed transaxle I went through a couple transaxles Put 3rd. Gear through the case once. The car was STUPID FAST ! When it hooked up .
