Interesting machine with a reasonable performance for the price, thanks for the review. By and by, Piaggio launched the Vespa in 1946, so in 2020 that made it a veteran of 74 years of age not 52. That makes it a true pensioner with a long heritage! Ride safe buddy.

Hi, nice review; noticed by the time you had gone 14 miles 4 bars of the "fuel" meter had gone! how far did you actually get?

Hi Ian. The circular route I took is about 14 miles; I then took it out again for another 4 miles, plus a bit of here and there, so probably about 20 miles in total. Unfortunately I didn’t make a note of the battery life when I got back, other than it wasn’t a concern for me at the time. I’ll be taking out their X-Tra soon, so I’ll make a note on that video re battery life. Re The Ultra, I believe they’d prefer to say that the scooter has a range of around 45-50 miles. Hope that helps.

How much is it the cost to charge the battery ? I can charge in my home ? Is it a second battery in case you are low of baterry ? Thank you.

Hi Andrei. Give The Electric Motorbike Company a buzz. I think it costs between 30-60p to fully charge the battery and yes you can charge it at home using a normal household socket. The Ultra only comes with one battery. The X-Tra has the option of storing 2 batteries so maybe give that a look.

Surely electric motorbikes have to make an artificial "engine" noise like electric cars? If they don't then they need to. I would guess that they could be more of a threat to pedestrians than electric cars.

I agree. I’m sure as things move forward this may become regulation otherwise, yes I foresee problems.
