Love the bike. I agree, the sound is great - the guitar and the drums. I have no idea what the sound of the engine and exhaust sound like though. 🙄

What is the number of your tribute black? I mean there are only 1000 pieces of it in the world. It should be written on the box under the seat.

Those L plates! 😠 I'll have to do the same when I get mine. Not necessarily a Mutt, but something similar. These are beautiful for sure. I bet he hates the low power though. 12hp is nothing for a guy his size. At least the sound is nice.

I'm 47, and thinking of getting a 125 in the next year and a half, and my mother is still trying discourage me. I had a bike as a teen; just rode off road, never got a licence. The wife to, isn't very keen either. Both my dad and brother ride Triumph Tigers (800 & 1200 respectively). I cant wait to get one. Considering this very model for the time being. But, I know I'll want a bigger bike. I've had my eye on the Triumph Street Twin myself, for my "big" bike. Though the Scrambler 400x looks lovely. More than powerful enough for my 70kgs. I guess for now, I'll have to live vicariously through these videos. Thanks

How many have they sold? It's a nice looking bike but there has been no promotion of the bike as far as I'm aware. Also slow charging not good, it needs fast charging, and a foot brake perhaps as optional. As for a 16/17 year old riding one of these, we are talking broke 16 years olds out of school looking for a fun bike that will not put them in huge debt. This bike is 5 or 6 grand, most 16 year olds would struggle to get hold of 2 grand, let alone 6 grand. When I was 16 it was a struggle to get hold of £150 so thought they could ride them they couldn't afford to ride them, that's the problem with electric bikes event hough this bike is a nice looking bike it's still out of the reach of the avarage kid out of school looking for their first job, unlike petrol bikes which are still very cheap in comparison. Or for that matter now electric scooters, which even the most powerful come in at around 4 grand, but a cheap electric scooter could be bought for around 5 hundred pounds well within a youths budget.

I find my Classic 500 is pure joy in the 50-55mph range. Push it past 60 and it will do it, but will file a sternly worded protest at headquarters...somewhere! This is just not the highway machine. It IS a lovely, fun, nimble, simple and economical machine to just take your time, smell the grass and flowers and ENJOY the ride. I'll take my BMW R1200RT if I really have to get somewhere in a hurry. THAT is also a fantastic motorcycle but for entirely different reasons. You guys are a hoot! Ride safely. Cheers from across the pond in New Mexico, USA.

It's funny, UK loves RE and India loves Triumph (esp speed400) more. ( In terms of sales).

These are such charming motorcycles! I practically stole my 2018 Classic (battle green) from a lad who thought it had a transmission problem. Well, the shift shaft was sliding a wee bit too far to the right through the engine cases, causing slipped shifts from not engaging the shift fork inside the right case. A simple wavy washer fixed it and it shifts beautifully now and is providing me with plenty of grins every time I ride it. It takes me back to the simpler days of my youth on mini bikes and my first 650 Yamaha...no fairing, no plastics, no luxuries, just pure motorcycling. These are becoming rare just recently as I had several Bullets/Classics in my area for sale now there are almost none. This is in the SW of USA. If anyone wants a Classic 500...get it NOW.

The spark plug on my new maverick 250 was a counterfeit NGK that fell to pieces when I took it out to check the mixture. I've had no real issues with the bike so far after 5500kms.

Not really. I tried one back to back with the SM650 which gets quite hot against your left knee. The Classic 350 doesn't have any hot spots at all.

Your thoughts make perfect sense to many riders, and not just new riders. The 150 miles per gallon is also great, although the little engine is very limited on longer journeys, as it's pretty much revving it's nuts off and fit to explode at speeds much over 50. Holding that speed for 50 miles along an A road would kill it very quickly, so makes a longer journey a looong journey. I love mine though for all of the faults that might happen, or might not 👍

I'm currently looking to get my first Royal Enfield in India. And I'm confused between Meteor 350 and Classic 350. I'm 6 feet tall and my partner 5.7 I'm more of nature admired and I can't see my self riding over 70mlph. Which bike would you suggest? I'm looking more into comfort level. Thanks
@TheBikingActor

I love my Classic 500 but would be tempted with the Super Meteor. I believe the Meteor 350 has an ever so slightly lower seat, so may suit your partner more but both are fab. Classic probably has a more upright seated position to the Meteor’s cruiser style. It all goes down to which bike speaks to you as both will offer the same performance. Good luck.

@@TheBikingActor thanks so much. A positive feedback really helps. I'll keep meteor my first preference as it's slightly more modern and cruiser type. No doubt I'll see hundreds of classic bikes on Indian roads. I'm sure meteor will make an attraction. Cheers and happy riding. Btw, subscribing now. You doing a good job
