Cool vid. I recently got a 125 (on L's) and it's fine on the Sydney freeways since most of the speed limits are 80k anyway. I just tuck down a bit to get out the wind.

A good tuck will get you an extra 5-6kmh 😁

i have to take my CBF on the motorway and at least over in the UK its more getting aggressively overtaken because i cant do 70mph than actually keeping up with traffic 😂
@Bob-ts2tu Жыл бұрын
I avoid dual carriageways whenever possible, but on occasion need to use them, and have no worries pinning it at 60mph to keep up with the traffic, but like you say overtaking aint something you want to even try to do. GL

Love this bike just WOT the whole time without worrying about getting a speeding ticket

I hit the freeway regularly part of my commute. Just keep to the left when possible. My Cb125e was constantly run up and down the freeway and loved it. The 125F is still being run in so I take the top end speeds WOT a little easier atm, but none the less it will cope with it reliably.

@@wixee123 The best thing about riding the freeway is that anyone who wants to can overtake at any time. There are few regional roads at 100km/h where the bike struggles on hills, but I've never had an issue pulling over to let traffic pass if I'm holding them up

how tall are you and what do you weigh? I know all the roads I have seen you on so it will give an idea how I will go on the CBF.

182cm and I like snacks 😉 Honestly I haven't weighed myself in years but I'd estimate 90-something kg

I'm amazed modern 125s can do freeway speeds now. When i got my Ls over 25 years ago i had a used 250 and that was a struggle on freeways. Also these honda motors are quite happy being held wide open on freeways for extended periods, they just seem to be built for it.
@NicksBikes Жыл бұрын
Yeah this bike does actually seem to run better the longer you hold it wide open

Ive been thinking about getting this bike as my first bike. I have been wondering is it comfortable on longer rides for instance on highway rides?
@NicksBikes8 ай бұрын
Yeah it's a hell of a lot more comfortable than I was expecting. The seat is nice and wide and the leg position is comfortable, like sitting in a regular chair, your knees aren't all tucked up behind you like some bikes. I've spent all day on this bike and although a sore bum is somewhat inevitable, it's a lot more comfortable than the 390 Duke I've just acquired

In some ways i want a motor bike but then i get thinking about the traffic here and that just ruins it

Yeah I prefer to avoid traffic too

@@stevewilson8752 It's a great little bike to buzz around on. I love it and I still find myself riding more often than my 390 Duke

I drive my one even on the German Autobahn and overtake Trucks so you should not have any Problems. It´s not the fastest thing around but for sure it isn´t the slowest.
@NicksBikes Жыл бұрын
That's awesome! I only have to deal with traffic speeds up to 110km/h

@@NicksBikes So light Nick, so light. Love you my brother, but that is nothing. 500 pounds dry weight kiddo, actually 553 ponds. And that should be about 251 kilos.

Rather any Honda than any Harley. It's not rocket science!
