1275 Engine for the Morris Minor!

Marc stumbles across a 1275 engine for the Morris Minor, obviously we had to go and grab it. We now have one more engine to trip over

saw here on utube last year a man lift dead weight from engine bay 1098 engine out , then lifted it up on his work bench amazing

I have an A+ from a marina destined for a Morris Minor 🤔 I’m interested to see how you get on 🤔 I understand the flywheel may need changing/adapting to accommodate a MM gearbox and the exhaust manifold presents differently to the exhaust. It may also be worth changing the diff to a 3.9 or 3.7 to get the most out of the cruising potential of a 1275 A+ . An interesting project and very jelly of your van 👍 PS the LCV’s were fitted with low comp engines 🤔 not quite sure how low, low is 😂

I lifted a 1275 A-Series into a Passat estate by using two long planks as a ramp and ‘shuffling’ the engine up the slope in front of me. I’m certainly not made of muscle.😊
